- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is based on the complexity of the project brief. I usually prefer a project fee rather than an hourly rate - so that the client is aware exactly what fees to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? To complete a comprehensive creative brief, so that all expectations are 'up-front'. I usually require a deposit for the first phase of a project which entails analysis, research and first round of design presentations. The second phase may entail finessing the chosen design. The final phase incorporates supplying the necessary mechanicals/artwork the project demands, whether it's for print or electronic production.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a college degree in Art & Design, with over 25 yrs experience in the profession. I am an adjunct professor at NYU, teaching professionals graphic design and Typography. One of an adjunct's benefit is the ability to audit other classes and keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
