Introduction: My name Is Alex Gasser and I would love to work with you! A few things about myself: I was one of less than 20 students accepted internationally into the Berklee College of Music's Global Jazz Institute in 2013. I played with grammy award winning pianist Danilo Perez at the grand opening of the renowned "Danilo's Jazz Club" in Panama. I have also played with other grammy winners including Joe Lovano for the Dominican Republic Jazz festival in Cabarete. I have over 10 years of playing experience and 6 years of teaching experience. I work with the student to develop a lesson plan tailored to their interests and ensure they get as much as possible out of each lesson.

Alex is one of the most knowledgeable and patient teachers I’ve ever worked with. He takes the time to figure out my level and gives me the space to thrive and experiment. He’s also a totally virtuosic musician, which is inspiring to observe up close. Lessons with him are really fun and I highly recommend his classes!
