Bass Guitar Lessons (for adults)
Bass lessons with Dom are amazing! He takes great care to patiently teach me music theory. His lessons are well-paced and informative. He is encouraging, skilled, and thorough. Learning from a guitar player as skilled as Dom is truly a dream. I can't wait for the day we will truly start jamming together!Jul 11, 2017VerifiedDom Minasi's reply

Bass Guitar Lessons (for adults)
I have been learning bass with the Dom for over a month now. I am a complete beginner but already making good progress. He has a great knowledge of the bass guitar. As Dom is a accomplished Jazz guitar player I find it great to be able to learn songs and then play along with guitar aswell as learning music theory and sight reading. Dom is great teacher with years of experience who understands how to pace the lesson. He always give you enough to practice without overloading and follows up with emails and musical reference of things discussed in the lesson. If you are thinking of taking lessons either on Bass or Guitar, accomplished or beginner, I would highly recommend Dom PaulMar 29, 2018Verified
I've been learning from Dom for a bit shy of two months now and have been loving every minute of it. While I'm a neophyte on guitar, my mother is a music teacher (guitar/piano/voice) and I grew up with vocal coaching at various levels, so I have experience with a variety of music training. I found Dom to be incredibly responsive; as other reviewers have touched on, he starts from the very beginning with vital information that I merely glossed over when self-teaching other instruments, but he will quickly amp up the pace of your lessons to your speed of learning. At this point, I leave each lesson feeling challenged, but I come into the next week with enough understanding to grow and meet the next batch. I'm also taking bass lessons with him once a month, and the sessions dovetail nicely into each other. He has a wealth of music history and experience at his disposal and you would do well to take advantage of that. Also, he has two of the sweetest cats I've come across in a while, so there's that.Aug 22, 2017Verified
Bass Guitar Lessons
I can’t say enough positive things about Dom. I played saxophone way back in high school and took a piano class in college. I thought I knew everything you could know about reading music. Dom showed me that that wasn’t true. My rhythm needed work and I forgot some concepts. Instead of rushing through and trusting that I knew what I was talking about (lol), he made sure I had a solid musical foundation. Dom makes the lesson fun. He combines theory with a good mix of playing. We’ve played a mix of genres. I feel that with his emphasis on theory, I understand the WHY of what I’m playing and not just the WHAT. The lessons are organized. He prints out sheet music and sends you mp3’s and videos to practice with. Dom is willing to challenge you if you’re willing to put in the work. But he doesn’t push you if your week is too busy or you’re uncomfortable with the pace. His homework makes me excited to practice! I’ve completed so much in just three weeks. I never could have gotten to this point with self-teaching, like I attempted to do before. I would recommend taking bass lessons with Dom to everyone. Great teacher, great price, and great progress! I can’t wait until I can jam with Dom without embarrassing myself :)Aug 21, 2018VerifiedDom Minasi's reply
Thank you so much Nicole. I truly appreciate it
I’ve taken several lessons with Dom so far and he is great! He is currently teaching me to relearn how to read music, an ability that I let erode over the years, unfortunately, but with his help and his patience, one that I can do along with playing guitar at a more advanced level. He will challenge your comfort zone and expect you to do the homework he gives you.He won’t just give you tabs and show you riffs ala the so many YouTube-like “instructors “ prevalent in our world. Working a full time job and doing this is not easy for me but if you decide to REALLY learn guitar,Dom is your man. He is the real thing.Nov 12, 2019VerifiedDom Minasi's reply
