I don’t make a habit of complaining at review sites and normally would leave pretty positive reviews, but I’ll make an exception for BA cleaning services and do extend a fair warning here. I asked for a moving out cleaning service, including outside and inside window cleaning and I was assured by them that they could provide this specific service. They weren’t the cheapest, but I trusted them as their initial communications were good. However, the were unable to do the window cleaning and I was left with dirty windows and no time left to make other arrangements. They also did not bring al the utensils for moving out service, notwithstanding the fact that I clearly said that the house would be empty. When I communicated to Beverly, the operations manager, she promised me to come back at this issue. I waited a full day, and send two follow-up messages, but nothing happened. The crew was nice and did their best, but the results are far below expectations especially noting that I paid over $300 for a six hours basic job.Don’t ask for their services if you need a more complex job done.Apr 27, 2018VerifiedBA C.'s reply
We noticed your reaction online and realized that no matter what we did, at that point, it was pointless to respond because as far as you were concerned, the damage was done. We are so disappointed that you were not satisfied with your cleaning. We don't profess to be a perfect company but it's always our goal to provide exceptional service. Just to recap about your concerns regarding the windows, after reviewing the pictures you sent, we discussed your cleaning project in detail via email and I shared with you at the onset of our accepting your project that our insurance does not cover us getting on ladders and that when our cleaning professionals arrived, they would assess the situation and let you know how far we could go. When the cleaning crew arrived, our lead cleaner discussed in detail with your wife that we would do all windows that were reachable without getting on a ladder. Your wife said okay and instructed our lead cleaner to do the windows first which was also your request prior to our arrival and the cleaning crew did just that. We completely understood the importance of the windows being done and made every effort to follow your instructions to the letter without violating our insurance policy. All windows that were reachable without getting on a ladder were cleaned inside and outside as some of the windows popped out. In your reviews, you mentioned that we did not bring the right equipment. We brought mops, bucket, broom, cleaning products that included glass cleaner, mold and mildew cleaners, grease cleaners and the list goes on. You also implied that you paid over $300. Well for $310 your move-out cleaning included cleaning a Brownstone from top to bottom with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, foyer, stairs, cleaning cabinets inside/outside and windows which was a more complex job that we feel was more than fairly priced. Please note, that we appreciate your feedback in the reviews that you placed on the various websites. Our intent in responding to feedback is to use it positive or negative to make us a better cleaning service. We want you to know that we recognize that you feel that you were inconvenienced so for that we again apologize and if you want to ever use our cleaning service in the future, we are providing you with an open invitation to a one-time 25% off your service. Thank you for the opportunity to service your cleaning needs and we look forward to servicing your needs in the future.
Cleaning service was quality. I signed up for a deep clean, which isn't a deep clean, it's a 3 hour clean apparently, which they don't tell you. They list what they will clean, but only if they get to it in the time, so make sure you say whats important to you. Don't go on the list provided of what they will clean. The cleaner was responsible and professional. Communication from the office was relatively curt, and not the most on top of it, but acceptable enough.Apr 25, 2018VerifiedBA C.'s reply
Hello Mr. Neu, Thank so much for a positive review and for your feedback and for letting us know that our task list was not followed to the letter. If you don't mind, please forward the list of tasks that were incomplete, and if you will allow it, we will send someone over to take care of them at no charge to you. Our policy is that if we run over, as long as it was a timing issue with our cleaning, we stay and complete all the tasks on the list. We also apologize if you felt the communication from the office was somewhat "curt." Sometimes things can get busy and there are many things going on at once pulling on the attention of the operations manager. We look forward to hearing how you would like to proceed.
