I needed a house cleaner the next day in the Upper West Side so decided to try maidhawk based on the good reviews, and that they seem to be able to send cleaners on shorter notice than most places. The cleaner they sent was 15 minutes late, so at first was getting a little worried. But once she arrived she got down to cleaning right away, and she had that extra energy you want in a cleaner. She had a mask on, did a first pass with spray bleach, and seemed very Covid conscious. She finished cleaning my apartment in 2.5 hours, and did an awesome job! Literally the best cleaner I've had in NYC.My previous cleaner used to take around 4 hours, pre-Covid, but would chat on her phone and had a low energy attitude. Needless to say I'll be scheduling regular cleanings with maidhawk now. Thanks maidhawk!

I found these folks off Angie's List. I have a one bedroom apartment in Gramercy Park. Their cleaner was very thorough, and unlike my last cleaner from a different company, the cleaner didn't waste time talking on her cell phone. She cleaned every minute she was there, which was appreciated. She got into the little areas of the bathroom and kitchen, which some cleaners miss. I would say she was efficient with her time and cleaned well.

I contacted Maidhawk when looking for someone to do a deep cleaning of a recently renovated junior 2 bedroom. The contractor was still working in the kitchen, but the cleaner did a great job cleaning dust off the walls, shelves, floors, cleaning the bathroom. She was prompt, pleasant and offered a number of helpful hints. I would definitely use Maidhawk again.

I needed a house cleaner to come and clean my 1 bedroom apartment same day, or next day at the very latest. Some cleaners say "ON-DEMAND then "if available" in small print, but they never are! After calling around for about a half hour I finally found Maidhawk, and they sent someone right away. It took her just over an hour to arrive from another cleaning she had apparently just completed in Brooklyn. She had a thick Russian accent so was difficult to understand at times, but she worked hard and did a great job. She even helped me organize my closet at the end!
