- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?2-D ARTWORK : When working with a new customer for a mural, interior house painting, or illustration, in person, I review the project they'd like to complete to square away all the details of their project. During this meeting we discuss the concept, imagery, materials, timeline for completion, total costs, and concerns. We sign an agreement form that protects each party to guarantee satisfaction of work completed and payment. FACE PAINTING : When working with a new face painting client, the process is similar. The client and I meet in person in advance (if necessary) to discuss what they'd like face painted. I design a small look book specific to what they'd like for the kids/adults to pick out what they'd like. Face paint is typically included in the total cost. I show up the day of the event and make everyone's faces pop full of color :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been painting fine art and murals for 16 years. I have a BFA degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. I've worked as an studio production assistant to artists Mickalene Thomas as well as Amy Sherald. Additionally, I've participated in various group exhibitions and have taught pre-college art at Pace University and various one on one art lessons.
