This is late in coming but still relevant.
Arif and I originally met over the internet via mutual friends several years ago. He is from Pakistan and I am from California, USA. We immediately fell in love. While we have many differences (Muslim versus Christian, younger versus older, bi-sexual versus gay, etc.) we knew we would spend our lives committed to each other. We have more in common then our differences and the differences make our life that much more exciting.
Our love was strong from the beginning, and we decided that insurmountable problems would not stand in our path.
Shortly after deciding on our life commitment I read an internet advertisement from the Law Offices of Darryl L. Wynn and their services to the gay community for "legal help with immigration to marry your fiancé". What great timing for Arif and myself. Darryl's legal team was there at the right time and quickly returned our initial communication. His team is based in New York City and we are in San Francisco, however the distance was insignificant.
His rates were very reasonable and we quickly came to an agreement for their services. We have friends who have done this work of bringing their international spouse to the US on their own, however I don't believe we could have navigated the avalanche of paperwork and filings without the professional help of Darryl and his excellent legal team.
We have been married just over a year and we are happy with our new found life here in California.
With the current political climate what we went through has become even more difficult. Whoever states that the USA vetting of foreigners applying for a US Visa, is lax has not had to suffer the process. If we had to do it again we would contact the Law Offices of Darryl L. Wynn. We owe them our happiness.
