My little brother loves his tutor lessons so I signed him up once a week nowSep 18, 2020Verified

Set up was simple and efficient. And a great rate. Had a tight deadline that they helped us meet. We were assigned the perfect tutor. Great knowledge and personality. My daughter had always been resistant to having a tutor but after a few minutes she really meshed really well with her. And in the end my daughter scored well in her class. So I highly recommend this service.Aug 21, 2020Verified

Cecilia is a very effective and organized tutor. She is always prepared and enthusiastic to teach my kids. Her teaching style is very interactive asking questions to my kids ensuring their understanding. She motivates my kids with positive feedback and praises to lead kids their learning most effectively. She is also willing to share her educational resources with me. I strongly recommend Cecilia!Jun 9, 2020

I am so thankful that I found Tutorfly! I have used them at three different times throughout my journey at UCLA and beyond! The first time I used Tutorfly was for my GRE! And then for my CSET! And this last time I used a Tutorfly tutor to coach me along my journey while I have been starting a new business. I will tell you that it is very hard for me to ask for help and every Tutorfly tutor I have had (three!) have been the NICEST most DILIGENT most PROFESSIONAL people! And what is even better is THEY'RE FUN! They all are nice and people that you would want to even hang out with which makes for the most welcoming environment. One thing I really like about Tutorfly is how they VET their tutors...from what I have heard it is a very long process and they SEEK out personable tutors who are great communicators and know their areas backwards and forwards. I HATE MATH. HATE. But with Tutorfly...I NAILED MY GRE. I KILLLLLLLED MY CSET. AND I FEEL SO ASSURED THAT MY BUSINESS IS GOING TO DO GREAT with all of my mentoring! Tutorfly tutors are very bright people who go the extra mile. You will find who and what you are looking for!Jun 1, 2020

Catherine is always on time and has always communicated with us if for whatever reason she would arrive later. With Catherine's help, my daughter has clearly gained confidence that even her teacher has noticed. She's understanding her homework and is able to apply the lessons Catherine has applied during class work and tests. She's been a great help!Mar 21, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most tutors charge $25/hour for 1:1 tutoring and there are never any hidden fees nor upfront costs. Clients pay on a per-session basis and we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, or you get your money back. Tutorfly Tutors keep 100% of what clients pay and we don’t take any commissions. (Online sessions and in-person sessions are the same price.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. Speak over the phone to learn more about your student to make a recommendation. 2. Connect you directly with the tutor so you can talk with him/her. 3. Book a session through the Tutorfly site and enjoy! :) We personally recommend an academic tutor that doubles as a role model for your student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our Tutorfly Tutors are in the top 10% of their classes in high schools and universities like Stanford, UC Berkeley, Princeton, and NYU. They have ample experience working with students of all ages and have progressed through a 4 step vetting process that tests for knowledge, creativity, and empathy.
