FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The fees are fair and Baroody Law offers flat rate packages for most trademark law matters.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with a conversation and intake so we can get acquainted. After learning about your issue and concern, I will determine if representation by Baroody Law is appropriate. Then, I will explain how I can assist and what the fees will be. If you want to move forward, I will then send you an engagement letter that you will sign in order to get started. You will be able to pay via LawPay, a secure platform Baroody Law utilizes on our website. One thing to keep in mind. For trademarks and copyrights, location is not an issue unless filing a lawsuit. International Law, especially Trade, is usually not an issue regarding location. However, any state law matters for me can only be Vermont, New York, Tennessee, or D.C. since these are the jurisdictions In which I am licensed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A., M.S., and a J.D. with a license to practice law in the District of Columbia, Vermont, Tennessee, New York with Admission to practice before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. I am also certified in healthcare compliance by the HCCA, but this is not a legal or bar certification nor is it related to my law practice.
