I have worked with a few different trainers throuout the years and Jake is one of the best. He always shows up to each session with a precise plan and is dedicated to getting you the specific results you are looking for . He is positive, upbeat and encouraging no matter what the circumstance. He is flexible and has accommoded my ever changing/hectic schedule numerous times. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get in great shape!Dec 28, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we start with some dialog, where we talk on the phone or I send an email asking up to 10 questions about the new client and their fitness goals. This is important to do before the first session because it will help me plan an effective 1st session. The initial session involves a consultation, movement assessment, basic movement instruction, and a unique workout that is specifically designed around the clients fitness goals. I offer complimentary first sessions because I think it is important for a new customer to see if the trainer is right for them. Most people prefer to test drive a car before they purchase one, or maybe more relatable to NYC, most people prefer to look at an apartment and make sure it is real before they sign a year long lease. The new client needs to know who they will be working with before they make a commitment and me as a trainer needs to know who my client is and make sure they are right for me and they are motivated and serious enough to continue working with me.
