Introduction: My work stands out from others because it is personalized to each client's very specific needs. I work closely with each client, listening to their particular needs and I then apply a customized strategy to help the owner and their dog(s) achieve a healthy relationship and attain seemless communication. Each client's situation is different, but providing specific tools and solutions for both owner and dog is always my goal. I enjoy most when I am able to help people shift their attitude and way of thinking about how they relate to and communicate with their dogs. By making small behavioral changes and taking the everyday environmental context into consideration, as well as providing basic understanding of dog language, the human/dog relationship improves greatly. Mutual understanding is achieved, and both the owner's and the dog's needs are met, creating a more harmonious relationship. Teaching this is what I enjoy most.

Jose is the best! He was very in tune with my dog's body language and gave great advice on how to alter behaviors. Not only did he provide great training advice, but I appreciated his holistic view on dogs lifestyles in regards to food and exercise. I would 100% recommend him- my dog and I are grateful for his time and work!

My experience with Jose from start to finish was outstanding. From his initial response to my query, I could tell that José was somebody that I'd like to work with. Prior to the formal training session, Jose spoke with me by phone to learn about my situation, to find out exactly what I was hoping for, and to explain his philosophy. That conversation confirmed that Jose was truly the right fit for me and my recently adopted poodle/terrier mix. The two hour training session was remarkably helpful and successful. After that one session, my dog, who previously sat on a chair at the table with us during dinner, learned to stay in his bed during dinner no more begging! He also taught me fundamentals about training that I have been able to successfully implement since our session. My session with Jose was extremely valuable, and I highly recommend him. I should also mention that he was extremely responsive, on time, and professional. Also, a couple of days of our training, Jose followed up with me to check in and see how things were going and offer further assistance if I needed.

My dog loved him from the moment he met him. He def loves animals. He is very patient. Every dog and owner is different but he worked with us and our specific needs, and schedule/family dynamics to make the training easy on both our dog and us. We are very happy with the results and glad that we chose him.

Jose was amazing! Our dog was mesmerized by him. We learned so much in a short time and have been applying everything we learned and its working! We covered potty training, curbing puppy teething on us and our kids, which was so easy, who knew! His training is definitely aligned with our philosophy of not instilling fear in our dog to get the behavior we want. Our little pup he explained is a corvette, a husky, and know that this dog has a ton of energy that needs to get out. So informative, we would highly recommend Jose to any pet owner in need of help!

Canine coach, Jose was great. We ended up in a situation where we needed to find a behavioralist quickly and not only did he help us with our situation he gave us the confidence and the resources to train out dog. We noticed a difference right away following the suggestions given. He was extremely professional by checking in the next day, he went above and beyond.

My pricing system is different for every session because every client is unique and I travel across the country for sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I pay extra attention with a new customer to reassure them that they are in good hands. I try to be extra clear about how I work and the techniques I employ hat will help them reach their ideal situation, satifying the needs of the owner and the dog.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I periodically take animal training courses with various experts to add to my developing knowledge base. Every single session that I participate in is a huge learning experience in itself.
