Weiwei has been teaching my son piano for 1.5 years. She is fantastic! She began working with him when he was 6 years old and has been an excellent teacher for him. She has responded to his varied musical interests, finding beginner-level versions of classical and more recent Disney movie songs, and even adapted some Hamilton songs to his level! She has engaged him using different and appropriate forms of technology and did an amazing job teaching him remotely. She also scheduled recitals, and did an amazing job putting together beautiful recordings of her students, which really helped boost my son's confidence and give him a sense of pride in his piano playing. She is very responsive, and has also been flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend Weiwei!

Each lesson shows a great deal of thought and creativity, including establishing a close relationship with the student (my 12-year old daughter) to generate not only valuable instruction but also a sense of enjoyment and accomplishment. Weiwei frequently follows up lessons with notes summarizing their key points, which makes practice between lessons all the more productive. She also is extremely responsive and accommodating with respect to isolated questions and scheduling requests.
