Piano Tuning

Saint was quick and friendly and taught me things about my piano that I didn’t know. He was much more reasonably priced and with quality work. I would definitely recommend him and have him tune my piano again

Piano Tuning

The whole experience with Saint was great, starting from the initial contact to my freshly tuned piano. He is no-nonsense and friendly. Our recently acquired piano hadn't been tuned in years, and he made it sound like new (to my middle-aged ears).

It was my pleasure. I look forward to watching your son grow and develop

Incredible service! I am not just talking about the actual Piano Tuning, but the entire process. First of all he was able to see me in a few days from the time I called because he was already in my area that week. What really won me over however was the professionalism. The day before an assistant called me to remind me that I had an appointment. The day of the appointment which was at 8pm, he came ringing my doorbell at EXACTLY 8pm! Before he walked into my home he asked if he should leave his shoes on or off! Ive never had a service person ask me this before. He tuned the piano wonderfully in about an hours time. Then he PLAYED a few tunes. Then as he packed his tools away he asked me to play and he was really concerned that I liked his tuning. He did not just get paid and leave. Now this was a great service call but as if that was not enough I received a postcard in the mail a few days later, Thanking me for my business. I am without a doubt going to continue to use PianomanSaint and will tell all my friends. Truly a great service experience.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

ALL tunings are $100 through Thumbtack. most repairs are normally free of charge as long as I am tuning the piano anyway and no parts are needed. Normally a tuning is $125. But I also provide discounts. AND HERE"S THE FINE PRINT!!! Once you are my client and on my client list. IF YOU TUNE YOUR PIANO AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR YOUR PRICE WILL NEVER GO UP!!! YOUR RATE WILL ALWAYS BE WHATEVER MY CURRENT RATE WAS WHEN WE FIRST MET. I APPRECIATE LOYALTY AND THAT IS MY THANK YOU TO YOU.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I LOVE to find out what kind of music they play. Whether they play hard or softly will also help me determine how often their piano should be tuned.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a Guild member since 1999 and attend monthly meetings where there will normally be a small class or lecture relating to piano technology. I also attend seminars , conferences and conventions throughout the country to stay on top of my field.A GOOD day is a day that I learned something as I LOVE to learn and never want to stop.
