Disregard this review... I never worked with this individual.

I couldn't have found a better individual with whom to work. Tony at SoundShop370 is a consummate professional--able to understand my objectives, sensitive to my needs, and equipped to help me realize my vision. Moreover, Tony is an artist. He clearly cared as much about my project as I did, and I was thrilled with the product we were able to create together. I couldn't recommend him more highly! Jeff, New York City

About this pro

I moved to New York in 1997 as an EMI recording artist—— after having two #1 records, 6 No. 1 Radio Songs and having started a successful record and publishing company (1994). Over the 17-years that followed, I've been showcasing my artistry as finalist on NBC's The Voice, signed a 2nd major label deal with Sony/Epic, and worked closely with high-profile artists, musicians and bands such as Cee Lo Green, Green Day and Queen. I've also had the opportunity to work as a producer, engineer and programmer with several artists within electronic, pop, hip-hop, R&B and Voice Over genres over the past 15 years. I'm at a place in my career where I'm focusing more of my work on producing other artists that are innovative, fresh and have an identity already beginning to form——taking more of a "behind-the-artist" role. I'm continuing to develop and build up tomorrow's talent in their specific music genre. My studio (SoundShop370) is conveniently located in Manhattan's Washington Heights—— an easy location from any borough in the New York metro area and NJ via the George Washington Bridge. I have just installed a dedicated ISO-Booth to handle all studio tracking needs for the highest quality vocals, a custom summing mixer (Vintage Maker) and a dedicated acoustically-sound production facility with accurate monitoring. I work closely with industry leaders and technology from: Waves, Chandler, Empirical Labs, Apogee, Focal, ISOacoustics, Slate Digital, Universal Audio, Softube, FabFilter, AudioEase, Melodyne, Antares (Auto-Tune), Sonnox and more. I look forward to working with you regarding your recording needs. ——SoundShop370 * For audio examples visit my SoundCloud account at: soundcloud.com/user-885006532 Having the ability to remain in a state of creativity while at all times— working with diverse artists and projects is an absolute privilege. These opportunities allow me to stay at the top of my game and a sought-after producer and mixing engineer.

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on time needed and what the client's needs are, pricing could be hourly, or a flat rate. Proper dialog is necessary to make certain the client is supported in their venture.
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to the core of what they want to do— what their vision is and what they ultimately want to have as an end product. Being on the same page is crucial to a successful working relationship.
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with my attending Belmont University's Music Business program, I continue to work intimately with some of the biggest hardware and software names in music technology— along with being a full-time artist, producer, engineer and mixer. I have the knowledge and experience to deliver a solid product using some of the most cutting-edge technology available (and NOT yet available!).
