Gloria has been such a great tutor. She has truly been a blessing! Gloria created lessons based on my needs, tailoring each class around what I wanted out of the class. She's patient, encouraging and pleasant to learn from. We formed a nice bond and I always look forward to our lessons. I began with no Spanish skills and in just a few months I feel like an intermediate. All I have is rave reviews and highly recommend her as a Spanish tutor!!
I am meeting with Raul once a week and he has been wonderful. I am taking an hour of tutoring in Spanish. His Spanish and English is very good and his apt. is a great meeting space. He has many years experience.
Beatrice es un fabulosa profesora! she tailors her lessons to individual needs and abilities, is patient throughout, and extremely helpful even outside of class times. Beatrice speaks to me in Spanish throughout the lesson (which is extremely helpful), and is super helpful outside of class to if I have questions, etc... So basically, if you're looking for a French or Spanish teacher, Beatrice is the lady for you!
Humberto has been a complete pleasure to work with. He is an excellent Spanish teacher and I have improved markedly since we started our lessons. I came in at an advanced level, looking for technical market specific Spanish terms to improve my work performance. He not only well informed on technical Spanish terms over a variety of subjects, but what he does not know he takes the time to research and arrive at the right answer. I have nothing but great things to say about Humberto. Hire him at any level of Spanish and you will not be disappointed.
I have been working with Roberto for over one year. He makes learning Spanish fun and easy. My confidence in speaking Spanish has increased immensely since working with him. He is great at helping one learn real conversational Spanish. He is patient and a real professional. He is really flexible when it comes to scheduling and he's always on time. Overall, he's a super teacher and a very nice person.
I have been be receiving help over the past 9 months from Mari. I meet her through the tutoring center on campus to go just go over a few things before a test. After doing so my score improved so much that I could not help but go back. I have dyslexia and her hands on approach has really allowed me to push pass the road blocks that I face with learning a second language. To be honest I never found much excitement in learning Spanish before secession with her. She is overly dedicated to helping me as a student exceed my goals as a student. I would recommend her to any one she is genuinely interested in how her students do and does not seem to care at what level we are at. When she first stated helping me I was no where near where I am today!!
Romina was very outstanding. She was patient to my daughter who was having trouble in her Spanish class. She went slow and easy, and her instructions were easy for my daughter to understand. She gave my daughter very good tips, and I suggest Romina for many.
The tutor at Cross Cultural Communications Schools, Mrs Nelson, is very knowledgeable and professional. She is not only passionate about teaching Spanish language but also the culture. She sincerely cares about helping me to learn the language. She is very friendly and enthusiastic. The classes are very interesting and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Cross Cultural Communications School to those who is looking to learn Spanish.
Luanna is an excellent teacher who quickly understands the need sof the student, adapts the lesson plan to what she sees is needed and brings a lot of creativity and flexibility to making it happen. Into third month of Portuguese classes now and learning faster than I expected.
Nayu was very pleasant and easy to talk to. She understood how much attention and care my 11 year old needed . She had a comfortable setting at her home for the Spanish tutoring I was very impressed with the structure of her teaching and she even got little story books that were in English and the matching book in Spanish
Mr. Frost was our daughter's Mandarin teacher in middle school. He also worked with her as a tutor in the summers. We credit his enthusiasm and natural talent for teaching for our daughter's love of the subject. His high standards became her high standards. Her plan to pursue Chinese as a major in college is due in no small part to her experience as his student.
Martha is an excellent Spanish tutor. She works well with my 8th grade son, and she has helped him become comfortable with the language. His scores have risen thanks to her.
I highly recommend Jacquelyn Poarch. She has been an excellent and effective German tutor for my son and has made a real impact in his proficiency in the language. She is knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and a pleasure to know and work with.

Mrs. Lily is great with my 6 and 8 year old kids. She has so much patience and i love how she keeps trying to speak to them in Spanish. My boys are learning Spanish and looks forward to their classes with Mrs Lily.
I love the Italian language and culture and realized my speaking abilities from my university studies were rustier than I thought during a recent trip to Italy this past summer. Upon my return to the States, I immediately sought private tutoring and I could not be more satisfied in finding Mariateresa. I've seen vast improvement in my comprehension and speaking since I started taking lessons with her. The first couple months were focused on fundamentals and book work but now each lesson begins with about 30 mins of conversation (in Italian of course) before diving into books. I cannot recommend Mariateresa enough regardless of your comprehension level because not only does she challenge me every week to improve my skill but the time spent with her is very enjoyable and something I look forward to every week.
For me, working with Claryliz couldn’t have been more rewarding or helpful. Not only was she extremely punctual and nice, but she was also very flexible with her schedule as well, which was useful for me as a busy high school student. Before I began tutoring with Claryliz, I’m convinced I would’ve easily received a 3 at best on the AP Bio exam. Although I go to a very good school, my AP Biology teacher was not giving nearly enough of a rigorous curriculum for us to be prepared to take the AP and do well. Once I began tutoring with Claryliz, I felt not only more prepared, but more confident in my ability to take the test and do well. The test that seemed so foreign quickly seemed less challenging. I ended up getting a 4 on the exam, and due to only utilizing Claryliz as a resource a month or two before the exam, I’m convinced that had I taken the initiative to begin sooner, I would’ve easily scored a 5. I have only good things to say about her work ethic and her teaching style, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who feels underprepared or needs help.
From an early age, my parents stimulated my foreign language interest with Spanish language learning records and a French dictionary. Then in high school I took as many foreign language courses as possible in order to initiate my knowledge of Latin, Spanish, and French. My best foreign language learning experience in college was 2 years of residence in a French dorm, La Maison Francaise, where French became my second language. Then Spanish became my third language after my summer in Barcelona. When I graduated, I taught both languages in Pennsylvania public schools and received my permanent certification in both subjects. Since then I have also studied Italian, Modern Greek, Danish, and German. As a foreign language student now, I know the fear of responding incorrectly to a teacher's/tutor's questions, and in my tutoring I strive for an open atmosphere in which students feel free to ask questions to increase their comprehension and enjoyment of speaking, reading, writing and listening to Spanish or French.
