FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $60 hr for my general handyman services, UNLESS it's a larger project, then I would work out a Flat Rate to complete the entire project. Note: I charge a Standard Flat Rate for TV installs ($100), regardless of TV size / type of mount or wall material. There are never any hidden charges or fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself to my clients, see exactly what there needs are & work out a time frame to complete project, then do the job quickly & professionally & clean up after myself. If the client is happy with my work (which they usually are), I generally get a phone call or text somewhere down the line from the client, or a referral from that particular client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Went to N.Y.C. Public Schools when they actually taught children how to work with tools & with their hands. They were called SHOP CLASSES, (Electrical, Carpentry / Woodwork, Machinery). A far cry from what Public Schools teach today. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Now they have Vocational Schools. Worked in the Construction Industry for a few years
