Howard was phenomenal. He was professional, punctual, and did a great job of adapting to the ever changing scene at a live concert. Futhermore, he was patient and creative when helping us edit the footage. We're thrilled with the video he created. Bear's Choice looks forward to working with Howard again soon.Apr 7, 2017Verified
Howard did an excellent job. Very professional, efficient and cooperative.Mar 4, 2017Verified
We hired this company to video record an important program on campus. This company worked seamlessly with campus technicians, who ordinarily video record these type of functions. Took constructive criticism well and made adjustments to wording on video drafts upon request. Worked in partnership with university AV techs to make sure sound quality in video was top notch. Added a nice touch on the video by placing the university logo as a "bug" for a more intimate, proprietary feel. The quality of the finished product was very stellar. Would indeed hire again.Feb 28, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates are flexible depending on the client's needs and budget. My basic rate for shooting with a simple 1 camera set-up is $550/day or $350/ half day. Additional equipment or more complicated set-ups are naturally more. Editing is $60./hour. Local travel is included but trips out of Manhattan are additional. I will often make concessions for non-profits and personal projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to talk, meet in person if possible, develop a plan, schedule and offer ideas to enhance the production, scout the location if possible. I share the files with the client within a day or 2 so they can view them right away. After uploading a first draft edit, I will revise according to the clients notes or sit with them and refine the edit if necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?BFA, NYU Tisch School of The Arts in Film/TV. Also trained with several of the leading documentary filmmakers. I've been awarded 2 EMMYs -one for producing on a WNET series and one for editing a children's series.
