Introduction: Hi! I'm a violist, violinist, conductor, educator, and orchestrator living in New York. My credits include music director/conductor of the recent national tour of Miss Saigon, and violist/assistant conductor with the Broadway revivals of My Fair Lady, Miss Saigon, Fiddler on the Roof, and Les Misérables. You can hear my playing on the cast albums of My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, and John & Jen, and on two solo albums, Fill in the Words and The Time of Year for Miracles, with actor/singer Ian Patrick Gibb. I've also written orchestrations for Jake Weinstein’s Ode to the Singing Butler, and to Lawrence Rush’s musical adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Trained in the Suzuki method at The School for Strings, I currently teach violin/viola at Silver Music and with Broadway Classroom. I graduated from Northwestern University, studying viola with Roland Vamos and conducting with Victor Yampolsky. I aim to inspire my students to be citizen artists, using music as story-telling to affect change in their communities. I aspire to build my students’ musical knowledge and technical mastery of the instrument to further their cultural understanding. This comes from the Suzuki Method’s understanding of music education as social change and I teach with the goal of providing new generations with the ability to express themselves constructively through music to build self-esteem and independence.

My son worked with Will for over a year. He had the ability to connect with my son. Will was encouraging and patient, especially with more challenging pieces. Definitely would recommend Will!!
