I told Jason I was concerned about of my hardware connected to computer by USB cord, keyboard, printer, mouse and camera, when USB was unplugged. He connected to my computer by remote and quickly clicked stuff and fixed things, then I inserted thumb drive and the "remove hardware" icon appeared to permit removal of drive which I did, so I was able to smoothly unplug it. Jason said only connections by USB that contained files needed the icon. Other stuff, mouse, camera, etc. could be plugged or unplugged on whim and tho a small window might appear this capricious operation would be completely safe. I don't know what kinda dog he has.
