We worked with Katherine Fonsella from DeCicco events and cuisine and she was WONDERFUL. We were planning a pre-wedding dinner for about 100 people in the Tarrytown area, but we live in Northern California. We did not know any venues or caterers or suppliers. Katherine helped us find a great, unusual loft venue, arranged all the decor, tables, lighting, and set up the catering from DeCiccos. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, everything went off perfectly. We are so appreciative of all that Katherine did to make our event wonderful!
I hired Angel Waitress service to be staff for my wedding on 7/1/17 and I am very happy I did. Nancy was great leading up to the event, and even though she didn't staff herself to work that day, she still came to make sure everything was OK. I loved that she said she takes pride in her work and that really shows. The woman who worked the event were great and I would certainly hire this company again. I'm in the business as well, and though it was a big day for me, I could see how seamlessly they were taking care of things! I hired Anastasiya to be the day-of coordinator for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This woman is a superhero. My wedding had a million tiny details to attend to (it was a very DIY wedding) and only 2 hours of set-up time and I don't know how she did it all but she just pulled it off perfectly. Every single detail, she nailed, and the wedding went more smoothly than I ever thought possible. She was super responsive, incredibly organized, punctual, kept all my vendors in check, went above and beyond in everything she did, and was just a truly kind and wonderful person to work with. I could not imagine my wedding without her. She is really exceptional and I am honored to have met her and to be able to recommend her to others to the highest possible degree.
Adrienn is my hero. I ordered a dress online and was surprised to find that the "built in bra" was just two floating cups between two layers of lace. I contacted Adrienn and she agreed to help. Rather than fix the weird top, she is building a completely new one for less than the alterations would have been. She has been great to work with. As a plus-sized bride there is always trepidation about dealing with fashion folk. She has been warm and non-judgemental and I think she will make me look beautiful on my wedding day. I highly recommend her, her studio in NJ is lovely and personal and worth the drive.
I was so happy that I hired Anna to do a belly dance act for my wedding. My guests LOVED the performance! Anna was also so profesional and always available to answer all my questions. Would definately recommend her services to anyone!
Chef Dave was a pleasure to work with. He had a huge assortment of menu items to choose from and all of the ones we picked for our cocktail hour were delicious. He was very responsive and professional. He worked with us to make sure we got all we needed and that everything was set and ready to go on our big day. His work definitely helped to alleviate some of the stress of wedding planning. My only regret is that we didn't book him for our reception as well. We were doing a traditional Chinese wedding and the second venue already had their own catering. Otherwise, I'm sure Chef Dave would've also aced it there. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Linda!! She was fantastic and the calligraphy was beautiful. She addressed and assembled about 140 wedding invitations for me. She was super responsive throughout the process and delivered ahead of schedule. She also went to the post office and had the cards hand stamped. I was in between two ink styles and she provided sample pictures and her advice. She provides the same traditional style and service of very high end calligraphers at more reasonable price. I will likely have her also do my place setting cards next. Hire Linda and you will be very happy!!
We had our tasting today 11/12/16. The presentation of the food was great and the food was awesome! Brenda and Wayne were very professional and welcoming. We can't wait for our wedding guests to taste the food. Brenda worked within my budget and offered great suggestions to make our wedding day very special. She is hired!
Mizdi was awesome in organizing and decorating for my the video premiere of my single “Burn Easy” at Le Poisson Rouge last Summer. It was an “Island” themed event in which everything was perfectly detailed from the table fixtures to the specialty cocktail named “The Burn Easy”. The party was a success and I was extremely happy with her work! I highly recommend MIZDI!!!
Comfort was hired as my wedding coordinator as well as my event decorator. KC Events was very accommodating to my needs! I was very particular and knew exactly what I wanted... and Comfort delivered! Where do i start Melyssa was great. I hired Alchemist Events to plan my wedding in SC 4/7/18. She came down early and was very organized. She gave my girl a schedule and meant business. 1st time ever my girls where ever on time. It rained for the wedding and Melyssa didn't care she told me its blessings from God lets do this lol. I forgot all about the rain and i really enjoyed myself. Everything was on-time and she was very professional. I would highly recommend her
I cannot express enough how thankful I was to have Cindy coordinating my wedding weekend. Not only did she take all the hoopla of decorations that I had bought and fashioned them into a beautiful bohemian romantic wedding setup, she ran my wedding rehearsal, picked up our dessert bar items the day of the wedding, navigated some tense family moments as a magical buffer, and also made sure that I felt taken care of all day, well into our reception (shoutout to the whiskey sour deliveries)! Cindy is thoughtful, talented, professional, encouraging, flexible, and has impeccable taste! I met Cindy when I was ready to rip my hair out due to wedding planning stress, and because of her (and Jac!) I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. That is an invaluable service, and Cindy puts way too low a price on it for all she offers. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and would not use anyone but her in the future for event planning services. Thank you again and again for all you did, Cindy!
It was a pleasure working with Nancy. She suggested several menu options and then worked with me to fine tune it to my parents' liking (we were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary). In addition, Nancy created 2 signature cocktails for my event and also oversaw the rental items (dishes, glassware . . etc). The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Also impressive was the staff. They were extremely professional and attentive. My guests raved! Thyme is a top notch caterer that does not disappoint!

Mariana was amazing from the first time we spoke on the phone! I was in need of a wedding coordinator /event planner and I am so glad Mariana was the one who helped my dream wedding come to reality. Mariana was always available to meet with us and the vendors , she was always very professional, and she exceeded our expectations always keeping in mind our budget and our vision. We hired Bella to provide day of coordination at the last minute for our wedding in December. Her and her team did not disappoint! I was so overwhelmed with all of the details of my wedding and my 325 guest but Bella and her assistant covered everything and handled the coordination seamlessly. Excellent job!
Lauren and Justine made not only the day of the wedding run without any faults, but also the weeks leading up to it. From the first planning meeting with Lauren, it was evident to me that the wedding was in superbly capable hands. She took over communication with the vendors and confirmed every single moving part of the wedding to create a master schedule, and then check in every step of the way to be sure that everyone was aware of the scheduling and to get live updates on the status of the schedule. Her organization made it simple for us to understand what tasks we had left to do and clearly showed a plan to execute all outstanding items. I wasn't worried about forgetting any details because I knew Lauren had them all handled and would also check all of them with us while adding her experienced suggestions. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Justine went beyond my imagination in how proactive, cheerful, helpful, and all around amazing they were. Lauren cued each parent and bridesmaid when to walk down the aisle in the ceremony. Justine communicated with our reception venue and helped set it up while the ceremony was ongoing. At the end of the night, Justine was able to pack up all items and make sure everything we needed to return to us got back to us that evening safely. There was no stress in either getting what we needed to the venue or taking everything back home. Due to Lauren's organization with her pack lists prior to the wedding and Justine's meticulousness, there was nothing in question for us. Hiring Lauren was our best wedding decision - we can't have imagined our day running so seamlessly without her and her team. Any prospective couples out there should get their dates on Lauren's calendar and rest assured that their day will run perfectly. We had the most magical day, and not once were we concerned about any planning details. Our vendors, bridal party, and guests noted how organized and smooth the event ran, all thanks to YWbL!
I really enjoyed working with Mirna and her team for my husband’s Gatsby themed birthday party. She was absolutely amazing. All my event worries disappeared as soon as I met her. She made out time to check out the event space and map out a plan. She is very responsive, flexible and creative. She suggested some pretty awesome ideas within budget and all the guests loved the decor. She also connected me with other vendors within her network who she worked with for the birthday cake ,dessert table and other rentals. I hired Mirna as an event decorator but ended up getting so much more. She helped with planning and coordinating the event and generally keeping me sane. Thank you, Mirna! I will hire you over and over again.
