Introduction: I take real care to respect and enhance a storyteller's voice. My background in theater really helps me do this and working for years as a teaching artist makes it easy to communicate. That's the key to producing a great final product. Working as an independent contractor gives me flexibility to be available and engaged with my kids. A creative and ever-changing collection of projects is great, too.

David edited my book, consulted with me on the publishing process, and engaged other professionals on my behalf to create a finished product. His work was more than outstanding, I could not recommend him enough. I can honestly say that I am probably happier with David than I have been with anyone else I have hired for anything. If you need this type of work done, David is your man.

I had a great experience with Write for life, David T. I would work with him again on other projects in the near future. As a beginner writer, he listened to my voice, and develop the style to a professional level. Thank you.

David Tabatsky is a pro in every sense of the word. He made me see things in my historical novel I would never have noticed. Obviously, working for a celebrity like Marlo Thomas, co-authoring with her, shows how good he is.

I have spoken with him and it would seem his proposal and price make him a good fit for my memoir. Will be meeting with him shortly.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It depends on length, present condition and deadlines requested. Each project is different, depending on many factors.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Always brushing up on new trends in publishing and reading anecdotal pieces from writers and editors. We can all inspire each other.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been telling stories all my life, first as an actor, then as a clown and solo variety artist, writing over dozen of my own one-man shows, which have toured throughout the world. Writing and editing books has been a natural evolution for me.
