David solved my problem. I was looking for someone who would make a lawn mower engine repair at my house, which is not near any repair places. I was also reluctant to carry the machine up a large number of stairs and then cart it to a repair place. David immediately responded, showed up as scheduled, and did the job. I was able to use it the next day just as I had hoped. His communications skills and attention to excellent. He saved me time, effort and money. I look forward to working with him in the future.

We have found all sorts of things for Brian to do, and some have turned into bigger jobs then we had originally though, and he has continued to work on them; for instance, keeping water from pouring in side door. He has patched a hole in our sheetrock and re-hung a stair railing, he give plenty of notice when he is coming and going and is always on time. He keeps his worksite very clean and keeps his eye on the dog, we are very pleased.

It was a pleasure working with Adam. He hung pictures and mirrors for us, fixed a loose handrail, fixed our screen door, and completed other jobs of a similar nature around our house. He fit us into his busy schedule even though the scope of our work was smaller than the typical projects he takes on - even though it meant coming over on a Saturday morning in order to do so. His pricing was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend working with Adam to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and experienced handyman.

If you are looking for someone to come to your home who is not only extremely skilled, detail-oriented and thoughtful, but who is also honest, polite and respectful, then Alex is your guy. Alex remodeled our old master bathroom into a gorgeously updated and skillfully laid out oasis. He was very good at tactfully communicating with me about the pros and cons of various materials used, tile layouts, and gently offered his opinions when I asked for them. His knowledge and guidance throughout the process were invaluable to the amazing end result. I now look at other people's bathrooms and think "their tile guy wasn't as good as Alex was!" I'm beyond pleased. Alex's skills extend beyond tile installation. He undertook a very complicated project in rebuilding a staircase from an old walled-in set of stairs to a beautiful, open staircase with spindles which truly transformed the front entryway of my home. His conscientiousness really paid off -- our stairs are beautiful, no one trips on them, and there is not a single squeaky step! If you hire Alex, you will not be disappointed. You will actually be thrilled. He stands behind his work and takes on each project as if it was in his own house. I plan to have him back to my house to install a new backsplash in my kitchen!

Gabriel was fantastic! When I requested someone to help us putting in new attic stairs, I had a choice between Gabriel and another competitor. I first chose the other , ONLY because he responded first. Fortunately for Gabriel AND for us, the competitor didn't work out and we were glad. Gabriel was prompt, neat worker, professional, great quality work, polite, and very fair. I have his business card on my fridge now in case I find other work I need done. Thanks Gabriel and your crew!

This contractor is excellent and pays attention to every detail. They installed a custom railing on the stairs in my backyard. It was not an easy job, given the layout of the stairs and associated area. The contractor has all the tools necessary to customize the job for your particular needs and does it at a reasonable price. They do the job as if it were their house they were working on. Also, they were punctual (on time) and cleaned up after they completed the job. Hard to find good contractors these days. This contractor knows his job and knows how to treat a customer.

Kevin structurally fixed the framing in my 1925 farmhouse, reinsulated it (it had tarpaper insulation), raised the ceilings upstairs (his idea since there was only a small crawlspace there), re-roofed part of my house and several outbuildings, installed several vintage windows, rebuilt my interior stairs, structurally improved my basement, built several cedar closets, and improved my bathroom layout. He completed everything from demolition to framing to insulation and drywall/taping to painting. He also built a 4th stall in my horse barn in an atypical space. Kevin worked on my house/barn/outbuildings/roofs periodically over two years and improved/built/fixed everything wonderfully, from small details to new roofs to large framing corrections from what the original builders had done in 1925. He worked closely with me in the decision-making process, often providing me with ideas and improvements that had not occurred to me that resulted in a beautiful and functional living space far exceeding my expectations. Kevin was very cost-effective in his material choices – often re-using original 1925 materials that produced a period effect that also happened to be gorgeous. He was more than fair in his pricing, and I liked how he had me control the purchase/payment of materials directly so that I managed material costs and could transparently see what I was paying for without worrying about hidden costs or mark-ups. I have worked with several carpenters over time, and Kevin was far superior to any of them in his knowledge, experience, ideas and overall professionalism. He kept the job site very clean as I continued to live in my home while work went on, and he always made it as easy and comfortable as possible given the large scale of some remodel phases. Kevin has many sourcing resources - for example, I found a pair of vintage windows that were also energy efficient in a small store I hadn't heard of that really brought my dining room together. Kevin built a horse stall in my barn in the side section with a low, slanted roof. He made several adjustments to the ceiling before closing it in so that my horse had more head room. He had to create a 4th wall that was strong enough to stand up to a horse’s antics, which he partially did by creating a pocket door to add reinforcement. He was well versed with the safety requirements of horses, and my horse loves her new home. You can see several pictures of the stall on his website, hitthepin.com Kevin built several windows in the barn both for ventilation and so that my horses could see out, and he also fixed interior and exterior barn doors that were in need of facelifts to make them safe again. Kevin replaced the flat section of roof on my house (from an addition), thereby also fixing a leak around my chimney that four other roofing specialists had failed to correct. No more leak now! He also performed work on several of my farm outbuildings, from roofs, to gutters, to seating on an elevated deck. In summary, I found Kevin to be the ultimate professional and an innovative craftsman. His creativity and artistry add another dimension to his carpentry skills, which is a true benefit for his customers. I recommend Kevin and Hit the Pin to anyone who seeks a multi-faceted, talented artisan who works very hard, efficiently, courteously and cost-effectively.

Vandy built a completely new stair case and wood banister for my house to match an existing stair case and banister. He also created a built in file cabinet system and desk for my husband's home office with some existing pieces and made it look completely brand new. His attention to detail, professionalism and work ethic is incredible. I highly recommend him.

These guys were the best. So professional and nice. Arrived on time, had the sofa securely loaded on the truck by the time I arrived. They had some trouble getting the sofa up my stairs but they refused to give up and eventually it was in my home without any damage. I have told everyone I know if they everare in need of any handyman services, these are the guys. I could only imagine how good they must be at fencing, considering the pride they take in their work.

Henry originally was hired to add custom door panels on our sub-zero refrigerators (2). He also added the long door handles. My wife and I were extremely happy with the work. So happy we also hired him todo out Mudroom. In the mudroom he custom built 4 bench areas with Pine Popular and MDF Bead board. He also painted them and added the hooks Henry added a fire rated door leading from mudroom to garage with door knobs and dead bolt. He repaired a stair in garage. He did above and beyond what was asked todo. The work was clean and he returned on the day he promised. He texted me back with no hesitation and he gave me an accurate list of material needed. He even was able to salvage some material I had in basement. We 100% recommend Henry and we will use him again for more projects around our house
