Christopher has a patient demeanor and takes genuine interest in helping his students reach his goals. Recommend him to anyone who wants an honest assessment of their playing and the feedback/instruction to advance their knowledge of the instrument.Nov 29, 2017
Christopher was awesome! I did weekly private guitar lessons with him over Google Hangouts, and felt like I really learned a lot. You can tell he really cares about his students and puts a lot of extra effort into making sure you're getting the most out of your lessons.Nov 3, 2017Verified
Christopher is a fantastic musician. I'm amazed by his ability to break down songs, talk about theory, and give tips for better practice. He's smart, engaged, dependable, and really nice. I'm really enjoying my lessons and would highly recommend him to anyone.May 16, 2017Verified
Christopher Wallace is a wonderful teacher, great player, great explainer. Marries the practical and the theoretical seamlessly, willing to talk ideas but always channels things back to playing and practice. I'm still a beginner but have learned a ton from Chris I didn't have the slightest clue about before. He's highly professional, flexible, and gifted, plus a really good guy. Highly recommended.May 6, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always try to get a clear idea of what my students want to accomplish before hand. On our first lesson we spend a good amount of time establishing the student's experience, abilities and personal goals, because each student is different and should be treated like it. I always design the instruction specifically for the student.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I LOVE teaching and I LOVE music! Its the perfect marriage! I started teaching in high school, first by assisting my music teacher and shortly thereafter my first studio teaching gig in college. I have been a professional musician and instructor ever since. It really is my dream job because I get to help other people learn to enjoy music on a whole new level. I have been teaching for about 17 years and always look forward to learning to new ways to help people learn music.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with everyone from complete beginners to other professional musicians to special needs individuals. There is literally not a type of person that I haven't helped learn to play music. Anyone can do it with just a little bit of determination and some elbow grease!
