Billy Roues

Introduction: I teach guitar, bass, and songwriting, and I have teachers who cover other areas of study, such as string bass, harmonica, piano and horns. I work with teens and with aspiring musical groups at perfecting their approach to ensemble playing and style. My specialties are in American roots music, i.e., all forms of blues, country, rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, swing styles and jump blues. I also run a camp for teens in the summer called The Blues Rock Workshop at Rockland Country Day School where I am also contracted for my eleventh years as Songwriting/Guitar instructor for grades 5-12.
