Sarah is amazing! I've had many Yoga Instructors since hurting my back and she is the best I've worked with. She goes above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. She knows a lot about yoga and strength training and is always willing to go into details on how and why we are doing a particular exercise. She's also a PT Aide among being a Yoga Instructor and I think the combo of the two works a lot in her and my favor. My body has never felt so good and I've never felt so healthy!!Jun 4, 2018
Sarah has in-depth knowledge of physical therapeutic exercises. Being a teacher, I am always on my feet, using my voice, stressed out, etc. and she helps to target all of these issues while simultaneously giving me a full body efficient workout. Each lesson is customized to my mood and how I am feeling that day but often a lot of repetitive movements to track my progress. We do a combo of strength building and stretching as she incorporates both Yoga and Pilates principles. I am often very busy and having the convenience of Sarah coming to my home makes my life that much easier. Sarah is a great yoga instructor and I am stronger physically and mentally because of these private lessons, I thank her.Jun 3, 2018
The combination of stretching and strengthening did wonders for my back! Having private lessons makes such a difference because there are so many things I don't realize on my own. The smallest adjustment makes it an entirely different workout! She also taught me how to do stretches while at work sitting at my desk all day - she is awesome and you will not be disappointed!Jun 3, 2018
I pulled a muscle in my inner right thigh more than 7 years ago and I never truly healed from it until I started private lessons with Sarah about 2 years ago. She made me aware of so much! She works hard to stretch and strengthen the muscle. She taught me that everything in the body is interconnected and interdependent and therefore aims to stretch and strengthen the body as a whole. She cares a lot and is willing to create workouts for me to do alone. I stand taller and move with great awareness ever since these lessons.Jun 3, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?60-75 minute sessions in the privacy of your own home (or in a studio). WITH THESE SESSIONS COMES MANY PERKS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXTRA CHARGES OR HIDDEN FEES
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first session may last as long as 75 minutes with a lot of Q&A's along with an assessment based workout (strengthening and stretching). After that, each session is 60 minutes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?500 hr certified Yoga Instructor - Atmananda Yoga 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do - Master Kyle Chong Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor - Yoga Education Trauma-Informed Certified Yoga Instructor - Inhale to Exhale I also currently work at a physical therapy clinic in Forest Hills, Queens directly under one of the most revered Physical Therapist and Professor with over 45 years of experience in the field.
