FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I took care of a new client who had never been apart from her dog. This happens quite frequently, but this was also the first dog she had ever owned. Needless to say, she was extremely nervous about the separation. She was absolutely pleased with my services in every way, and even gave me a $100 tip! Lilly has been back with us twice, and her owner is happy to sing my praises to anyone who would like a reference. She wrote me a five star review on a site called Sitterciity.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get references from satisfied clients. The person you hire should be proud to provide you with as many references that you need in order to feel comfortable. My clients are happy to sing my praises and provide you with any information you are seeking. Check for 5 star reviews on Sittercity.com
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I would love for any potential client to know that I provide much more than the typical pet care provider. I believe one of the reasons I'm unique is that when I'm caring for someone's baby, they are NEVER unattended. My husband and I both care for pets full time, and one of us is with our guest at all times! I will not even shower if my husband is out walking another dog. I also provide clients with updates throughout the day, which include many pictures of their dog. Most importantly, I love every minute that I spend with the dogs, that I almost feel guilty taking the client's money.
