FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $65 per session and a minimum payment of $325 for 5 classes is needed to begin working together. Most of my clients train a minimum of twice per week and purchase a discounted 10-pack for $600. You will save $50 right away and have enough classes to take you through the month. The 10-pack can be paid for in two installments. I prefer cash or check, but also accept credit card payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I help you to define health and fitness goals and expectations and prioritize them in order of importance. Then, we break the goals down into manageable pieces and decide what success will look like for each goal. Along the way, we anticipate obstacles and put strategies in place to work around them so you can live through the holidays, social events and emotionally charged times in your life without weight gain and added stress of unhealthy eating. Don't worry, we'll have fun doing things like vision boards and creative visualization as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified fitness trainer, certified nutritional counselor, weight management specialist, yoga therapist and pilates instructor and pole fitness instructor. I am currently working on a PhD in health psychology and loving the skills that I'm learning to help my clients with changing health and fitness behaviors, motivation, emotional eating behaviors and stress management. I have over 15 years of experience working in fitness clubs throughout New York and was also a former manager of Personal Training at Lucille Roberts.
