Introduction: Welcome to Nick Cocco's Baseball Instruction. I have been a Private Baseball Instructor since 2012 and have over 20 years of Baseball experience from High School, College and MSBL of Long Island. I Specialize in Baseball instruction between the ages of 4 to 12 Years of age as my passion is to share my experience and bring out the best in my students by infusing fun with challenge. I offer individual instruction or group, my rates vary but I do work with the parents and evaluate each individual and set a game plan based off of skill. I work with all skill sets so don't be afraid if your child is just starting out. I feel that I am a good hire because of my commitment to the kids and parents, Helping the kids become more confident with themselves as they learn. I am flexible with price " nothing is set in stone", really good with communicating and I work well with my clients. I communicate , for example when the weather is bad I reschedule rather then charge a fee. I have an open trust policy about canceling... I believe if there is good communication between instructor and parent everything will work it self out. We have a 4 year old son that loves baseball and we want him to learn the game techniques and have fun at the same time. We contacted Nick and right away he responded. Nick is very professional in every way, he explained to us exactly what to expect and the techniques he would show our son. He found a park nearby and was punctual. He taught our son hitting techniques while making it fun at the same time. He also brought information on little leagues and equipment that I inquired about when we spoke over the phone. He is great with kids, my son was very excited and can’t wait for his next lesson. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn more about the game and improve their skills.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are different as I deal with a number of indoor facilities for those looking for sessions indoors. My Standard out door sessions are from 50.00 to 75.00 per hour all based on what the client is training and skill set. I am also willing to work with clients as long as they are reasonable and honest about what they expect.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost I have an evaluation before we get to deep into sessions and clinics ,I ask to here what the parent is looking for and what they expect verse ability. Is this just for fun or is your child looking to improve there chances on making a team or to improve there current status on the team. Too many times parents put way too much pressure on the kids when it comes to sports and if your going to get anything out of this they have to enjoy it but most of all want to do it and be willing to work hard for it.
