Justin S Krocke claimed he could install vinyl flooring. As anyone can see from the photos the grout lines were out of alignment , the tile pieces were not staggered or properly installed. He required that I provide materials so I lost both my deposit and material expenses. Please be careful with this person he was not honest about his abilities.May 18, 2017VerifiedNeed a Hand?'s reply
Please mention the other work that was completed correctly and more than covered the deposit.
I hired Justin to help me with my laminate floor installation. He has been great to work with. He took time out of his own schedule to meet with me for the estimate and then actually went shopping with me for the laminate. He's helped come up with some creative solutions for trim and transitions.Jan 19, 2017Verified
We hired Justin to repair a bathroom ceiling leak and replace the the original roof above this 8x6 room with a rolled roof to prevent further leaking ! There was already a substantial crack with mildew that was spreading and heavy rain forecast coming. With no other interest or estimates in the works (which Justin knew because he asked ) we hired him despite his over inflated charge ! Bad choice.......Justin was extremely unprofessional, argued with client when called out on his short cuts and his sub quality workmanship and quite frankly his immaturity ! Pictures attached show how he left his work the second time he came back to try to fix the first mess he made, his final remarks “I don’t know what to do differently, and walked away.... presently pursuing legal action.Nov 4, 2019Verified
Patio Remodel or Addition
I hired Justin Krocke, owner of NEED A HAND to build a patio in front of my house. Justin took the time to speak with me on several occasions in person, over the phone and via text to discuss a variety of ideas for the final design. This experience was all new to me so Justin explained the process to me so the end result would be exactly what I wanted. I can say with 200% certainity, I now have a gorgeous patio beyond my imagination!! I am extremely grateful that he presented so many great design and material suggestions and continuously stressed he was only interested in building what “I” would be totally happy with when it was finished. The patio came out beautifully – much more than I had originally pictured in my head. Justin and his crew are all very professional, personable, extremely efficient, dependable and dedicated to the work they perform. I’ve had numerous people compliment my new patio and ask for Justin’s information. I strongly recommended they contact Justin for any projects they needed done because he is exceptionally talented and quite versatile to handle a wide range of projects. I am confident Justin will be my “GO TO GUY” when I “NEED A HAND”. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Justin Krocke, NEED A HAND, and his entire team.Aug 17, 2017Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Communication is key. I always keep the customer updated and informed of what is happening and how the project is progressing. My end goal is to always walk away leaving the customer happy. I aim to do the absolute best I can and I pride myself on having a great review rate.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have a broad spectrum of services offered. On any given week we could be doing an office build out, building a custom fence or deck, or installing a new patio. I’ve always been of the mindset that there is no job too big or small!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I met with a client who's deck was in quite bad shape. Mold and mildew had taken over. After hours of sanding and different treatments, we were able to stain and bring new life into the deck. It is shown in my pictures.
