I attribute my comfortable pregnancy and labor, and my ability to respond to what was going on with my body, to these prenatal yoga classes and swimming. Usually I have a hard time taking what I do in classes and carrying on with that in my daily life (not just for one hour a week!), but she was such a great teacher and really personalized my practice so that I was able to continue on my own at home. I knew a few "bread and butter" movements I could do daily, and they didn't take much time. It really helped me in between classes! She also had an uncanny way of figuring out what each person really needed in any given week, and personalizing the class for each of us in some little way. She is a caring and intuitive person. Taking prenatal yoga with her, and treating myself to a couple of private lessons as well, was one of the best expenditures I made to ensure my comfort and health during pregnancy.Jun 17, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer a discount on 8 private sessions for the price of 7 (8th session is free). Discounts are offered on a case by case basis if their is financial hardship. Please contact me to discuss a payment plan if needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I listen and observe you carefully, and I will communicate clearly with you how to proceed. You will understand how and why, and will progress steadily towards your individual goals. You will end each session feeling fabulous, smiling and eager for the next session. You will be transformed to become your very best self.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In 2002 I completed 200 hours of Iyengar yoga and Vinyasa yoga teacher training, combining excellent alignment knowledge with flowing sequencing. In 2007 I completed 300 hours of Yoga therapy training, with detailed expertise in modifying yoga and wellness techniques for individuals with chronic pain, pregnancy, chronic illness, injury recovery, stress, aging, and obesity. I have taught many 100's of individuals and groups in various forms of yoga, relaxation, and meditation for all ages and all abilities. I am highly qualified to give YOU the best possible one-on-one service.
