Robert committed to bartending our wedding reception this past weekend. He provided us with information prior to the wedding: shopping list, etc. He asked if he could add a "tip jar"...we welcomed it because we did not mind at all. He arrived on time, dressed professionally, was courteous, and mixed drinks well. He was very considerate in us saving money by offering suggestions. My guests complimented our bartender throughout the night. We will definitely hire Robert again for our events. Thank you, Robert!

From start to finish, Robert was incredible! I hired him to bartend the final evening of our annual offsite (~65 people). Robert was professional, easy going, and a pleasure to be around. His location during the evening changed multiple times (due to different scheduled evens throughout the evening) and he was more than happy to help and adapt. I originally hired him for just a few hours but ended up extending his time with us - and happy I did! I hope to have Robert bartend one of future events.

Robert is amazing! I had about 120 guests at my wedding and everyone loved him. He even remembered the drinks people were ordering and would pour it up before they even got to the bar. Robert tended bar at my wife's surprise birthday in fairly tight quarters in our small city kitchen in Hoboken. He was awesome. He stayed on top of everything and created a really friendly vibe with the guests. Throughout the evening a bunch of people commented specifically about how great Robert was. I'd work with him again without question and would recommend him to anyone who needs a bartender.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients prior to any event. I like to set up a phone conversation or a meet & greet to go over in full details the event they have planned. I discuss with them my services & I help them with decisions on creating their bar for their event. We can discuss menu options for drinks as well as set up & items to provide.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am Serve Safe Certified & TIPS Certified.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for caterers doing weddings & special events. At the same time, I was working as a bartender for a night club. Working a full time job & working late evenings at the night clubs was getting to be a little too much. Started working on my own, which proved to be more beneficial for me.
