We love working with Lou and his colleagues at U Music School. Our son started with Lou about two years ago and we have found Lou to be incredibly patient, encouraging and fun in all of our interactions. He is a remarkably talented musician and has a knack for reaching kids, ensuring they enjoy music and learn while laughing. Our son recently also started singing lessons at U Music and is loving that too! We are complete supporters of U Music and have a number of friends who have had similarly excellent experience with Lou and his fellow musicians! Thanks to all. The Salles FamilySep 29, 2015
I Robert Pavelka highly recommend Umusic and Lou Ubrianco for all your Music Education, and Guitar Playing. I have known Lou for many years, and alway's look forward to hearing and seeing him play Guitar with his proficiency. I recently studied with Lou for 2 years, and found myself playing much better. I've participated in a Guitar Workshop, and Band workshop, and I'm looking forward to more learning. Lou is a kind person who can make the music experience, enlightening for young and old.Sep 21, 2015
I have been a student at U Music for 3 1/2 years. When I began studying there I had been playing with a band for a couple of years and had just begun playing a a solo gig here and there. Now both the band thing and the solo work are going strong. Lou Ubriaco has helped me to move my playing to another level and there is no end in sight. I recommend the school to any student-especially the motivated person who wants to seriously find some chops. Lou sugar coats nothing. Practice, practice, practice-but if you are willing to put in the work he will take you where you want to go. 5 stars all the way.Sep 17, 2015

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our approach is very individualized as opposed to a set curriculum. Students learn what they want at their own pace. Special attention to technique, meter and performance along with the integration of the rudiments and fundamentals of theory make an effective formula for success. Building confidence in a student creates the fuel for motivation and progress...very important, especially in performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All teachers at U Music have extensive training as well as performance experience. The study of all genres of music from classical, jazz, rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, rockabilly, flamenco, Latin and fusion gives Lou Ubriaco (director) the expertise and diversity to instruct effectively in all styles as well as assisting the staff.
- What types of customers have you worked with? Our students cover the gamut demographically. From age 5 to 70. Every student, young and old and in between, is welcomed and feels comfortable and safe here.
