I am giving Varian an outstanding rating because he successfully resolved an difficult emergency situation despite some confusion in the process. He re-installed 2 very large heavy window air conditioners [24,000BTU and 18,000 BTU] I had in winter storage on a hot day when my regular installer defaulted. Somehow he was not aware at first that he would need a helper but while waiting he helped me with sealing up some other window frames in the apartment. He was cooperative and professional. He reinstalled the AC's in accordance with some of my particular requirements. The job cost more than I expected but was worth it. Next time I will make sure the service guy gets the job description from Thumbtack.

We had Jorge install 3 window A/C units. They did a great job. Neat and tidy, cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely use them again.

Robert was the really best chose since he got all the pending works we needed done. We were originally looking for someone to work for backsplash tile in our small kitchen. However we ended up asking him the following works and he did such a great job in two days in a row including overtime to complete our requested works. 1. Backsplash tile application 2. Fixing a window blind to metal facing 3. Hanging a heavy lighting fixtures 4. Making closet shelve 5. Replacing electrical outlets 6. Replacing toilet tank accessories Basically he is a carpenter but he could do plumbing and electrical work as well. We really appreciate what he did for our place.

Working with Newark Window Tinting has been a dream come true. I have hired them to do several of my vehicles as well as several of my commercial properties. They showed up on time, in uniform, ready to start the job! The products they use are of great quality and they have the most affordable prices! I would recommend them to anyone needing Window Tinting services!

Marty Kein's work is outstanding. He is a very professional person and very easy to work with. He worked for me on two occasions lasting about four months in total. His work involved renovating my kitchen, two bathrooms and an attached garage. He installed three new windows and one door. He also installed oak flooring in my family room. You can depend on Marty. He is totally honest and wants to please you by doing a very professional and thorough job.

I initially contacted Torino Home Repair, LLC through Thumbtack in the course of a search for someone to handle a window repair. As it turned out, when Mr. Luca Morello ( a native Northern Italian ) and his wife, Mrs. Angela Morello ( who ensures that communication is perfect ) arrived, we decided that the window job be put on hold awaiting the return of a tenant away on business. I found the Morellos so knowledgeable and easy to deal with however that I asked if Luca would consider another job I needed done --- hanging a number of heavy, fragile mirrors. Luca is a man of many skills and he agreed to look at the mirror job. Once he had assessed the job, he took preparatory measurements and gave me an estimate. I had to reschedule the work date, twice. The Morellos were absolutely gracious and patient about rearranging the time. On the day of the job, Mr. Morello arrived punctually, completely equipped and having obtained in advance all the materials necessary to accomplish the job, and having thought out in advance how best to approach it. He set to work immediately and worked, carefully, tirelessly, skillfully and intelligently until the job was finished, perfectly. No coffee breaks, no complaints, no cell phone talking or texting, no excuses, no short-cuts, no requests for additional pay, no distractions and no attempts to parlay the job into additional work. And no broken mirrors. He also provided solid advice when I asked his opinion regarding placement and positioning of the mirrors. The Morellos are delightful, honest and fair. Luca Morello's work is excellent. I highly recommend Torino Home Repair, and I look forward to future encounters with the Morellos.

I work at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center in Kingston. McMahon's Home Improvement was hired to work on the roof of the building and to remove and replace the capitals. They did a beautiful job on both fronts. The office is always great to deal with and they were very patient with us as we went through some staff transitions. One day, a window in our ED's office shattered without warning. I called Tom McMahon and he came over right away to look at it, then brought his window guy with him and by the end of the day, the window was fixed. You don't find that kind of service just anywhere. I would highly recommend McMahon's to do work for you, whether it's residential, commercial or business. We would use them again in a second.

Luis and his assistant were punctual. They came when they said they would and they did an excellent job. My 15 year old deck looks new. Also my windows are clean. I appreciated the care taken and the price.

We recently acquired a second home -- and have since discovered it is in need of lots of TLC. At the top the list was a fresh coat of paint -- Fast-forward, we now have new base/window molding and a professionally painted room ready to be decorated. Kevin is a perfectionist. He is easy-going and trustworthy, which we value most. We look forward to having Kevin back in the future to help complete many items on our To Do list. We only wish that he lived closer to our primary residence to assist with home improvement projects here as well!

Danny Rummo and his team from Constructive Design, Inc. have done extensive renovations for me and I would recommend him to anyone. He has re-plastered several rooms resulting in beautifully finished walls. He has replaced interior and exterior doors, all of our windows, window wells, siding, shutters, and roofing and some underlying wood that he discovered was rotting. He also installed all the finishing touches, including custom window trim to match existing woodwork (none that was ready made was an exact match, so he fabricated it himself). He also prepped my stairway and oversaw the choosing and installation of beautiful new stair railings and ballusters. He is honest, thorough, neat, creative and fair, with a great eye for design and he pays full attention to minute details. He is great at keeping the homeowner informed of what he has done, what still needs to be done and how and when he will do it. His prices are fair and he always explains how he calculated the price he quotes. He is a great contractor to work with.
