Introduction: Executive Chef Geoff Rudaw is currently on furlough from the famed Plaza Hotel. He has spent the last 5 years customizing menus, leading delicious high profile galas, unbelievable weddings, multi faceted corporate events, and distinguished fundraisers ranging from 200 to 650 guests in a sit-down dining format, as well as butler passed cocktail events, action stations and decadent buffets.
Previously, Geoff earned his first Executive Chef post at Ian Schraeger’s original boutique hotel, Royalton. Chef Rudaw then directed the kitchens at Soho Grand Hotel. When he opened the sleek Meatpacking District restaurant MPD, Geoff's love of organic foods and quality ingredients, combined with his astute eye for detail, helped gain a recommendation from the Guide Michelin. Geoff then returned to Morgan's Hotel Group as Executive Chef at Hudson, overseeing Hudson Common, Tequila Park & Hudson's Banquet divisions.
Prepared with a vast network of partners and vendors, I have the ability to execute on any culinary vision. Additionally, I am an expert in sanitation familiar with all NY State and Westchester County hygiene guidelines ensuring all staff has an enhanced focus on sanitation, working constantly with a mask and gloves for a safe and immaculate work environment.
Services offered include:
Private culinary lessons offering classes in homestyle cooking, fine dining, healthy cuisine, modern hors d’oeuvres and family cooking to name a few. Classes begin at $500 (up to 3 students). Additional students are $100 each. All ingredients, which will vary by class, will be billed at cost.
Personal Chef services include parties that begin with hors d’oeuvres, and continue through multi course dinner tastings at $250 per person.
