I would highly recommend Arbor Tutors for any math tutoring you need. I cannot speak to any other subject but they did a terrific job tutoring math.

Jeremy is very knowledgable, professional education coach who has mastered his field of child tutoring. Aside from being a fine math tutor, he is also helping our child with organization skills. Even though he is new to us, I can say that he is dedicated and dependable. There are no screaming matches in the house regarding her math work and she has started enjoying math which is a big plus. I would highly recommend Jeremy without any reservations. Regarding his fees; you may find a range of tuition fees on thumbtack but essentially you get what you pay for. Having a professional business myself I can tell you that he is certainly worth your child's education and self esteem Dr. K

It is so hard to find a quality SAT tutor but Nick is it! He was absolutely fantastic! My son needed help on the reading section and Nick got right to work by targeting his weakest areas. Over 4 or 5 months, my son's confidence and scores skyrocketed. Wow!!

It is a pleasure to work with Dillon. He was hired to teach piano to my two sons. He is very knowledgeable and patient to be working with 2 boys in back to back with piano lessons. He has made the process very fun for my kids and they like working with him. Also, after their piano lessons, he works with them on their reading and math skills to keep them current and help with their weak areas.

I took my SATs once and although I am not a bad student, I just felt that I could do better, I knew it inside, but just could not find where it was. I was able to find Chelsea International Schooling; their online tutoring program was just off the charts. My tutor developed a special study guide which helped me focus on my key weaknesses, without feeling de-motivated, in fact I was so enthused by my tutor, I actually looked forward to all my sessions. She is a brilliant tutor and I am so very grateful. By the way, I was able to increase my SATs in all categories, and I achieved an overall score of 2210, way above average!!!

Kate helped to revamp my resume since it had been awhile since i had made any updates. She was very patient, and took as long as you needed over the phone to get all the information. Even though my job is very different she also took the time to do research and learn more about the industry and position. This showed me that she was all in to get it right, which in the end it looked and read great. Kate was really able to portray everything i would have wanted on my resume and more, making me feel much more confident heading into the job search. I would highly recommend Kate for her writing skills, patience, experience and work ethic. Thanks again Kate!

Daniel is an incredible job preparing my daughter for the SAT. She managed an over 300 point jump in her practice tests. Most importantly, Daniel make my daughter more confident in her abilities and comfortable with the overall process. A good tutor inspires a student not only to work hard, but also to expect better things from themselves and Daniel certainly excelled at that.

Michael is a very experienced teacher. We are developing a study plan for my teenage Chinese stepdaughter to master the English language. He spends hours preparing material for sessions with students that he tutors. He is patient and he understands the needs of non-English speaking Asian immigrants. He is truly a gentleman and shows great respect when he communicates with others, no matter what their age, race or nationality. Thank you, Michael, for all that you do.

I am very satisfied with Niquesha's tutoring services. It wasn't easy finding a tutor in Prospect Heights but I got lucky with this one. She is very enthusiastic and I love that she is so involved and sends me several progress updates. She was very speedy to identify what my son was struggling with after a few assessments and diligently explains the content to him. A week ago my son came home with his first 90 on a math test, ever. Thank you so much. I highly recommend her!

Dan has made a world of difference helping our 16 yo prepare for the SAT. I highly recommend Dan for students struggling with test anxiety and/or reading comprehension. Our daughter’s reading scores increased significantly with his help. Dan is a patient teacher and great at test-taking strategy, but what we appreciated most was the confidence he gave her for test day.

I think any adult who pays to study a test just goes to show how important the test is to the person who may be feeling uncertain about him/herself or perhaps some aspects of the test. Hence, I believe the greatest value of a tutor is his ability to motivate his students to the next level of learning and to feel confident in tackling the test. And that is exactly what I found in Fred. I was feeling apprehensive after attempting some questions on the mock GRE test. But now, with the support of Fred, I feel very confident and that confidence motivated me to want to do my very best. So from the bottom of my heart.. Thank you Fred for sharing my journey to a self actualisation need.

Luka worked with my son throughout his freshman year at NYU. We have worked with tutors previously and Luka has by far, been the most inspiring and dependable teacher/tutor that we have had the fortune of working with. My son, who is in the Pre Med/Health undergrad program will continue to work with Luka throughout his academic career. Our son's GPA went from a GPA of 3.0 to 3.8.~ we highly recommend Luka.

Being an international student in Boston I had quite a few difficulties with English, and so I have reached Lauren to help me out with writing and editing. Lauren is an extraordinary academic writer who writes artistically and passionately on subjects that matter. Most importantly, as a tutor she creates a warm, comfortable and patient environment and has helped me tremendously as a professional with writing and editing applications and different essays. She is an exceptional teacher and person and I would whole-heartedly recommend working with her.

Jamie is so patient and kind with my 9 year old. My son has behavioral issues which has been a problem with tutors in the past, but Jamie is a dream. He absolutely loves working with her and he is making such progress! She really knows her stuff, is always punctual and makes it clear that she cares. I cannot recommend her enough.
