About this pro

How does your service stand out?

Energy Psychology (EP) methods like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/MTT), Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), The Healing Codes and other create deeper, lasting changes and healing compared to talk therapy. Research has proven EFT to be the most effective tool for PTSD, regardless of the origin. Talk therapy is not capable of changing the energetic imprints of Trauma, and we have all been traumatized in life to some degree or another. No matter what the issue is, EP methods can help you, and as an added bonus, you learn how to use them on your own.

While early for me to rate having only attended one sessiion, my you gut says the 4 stars is accurate.

I started seeing Tom about 11 months ago. Before that, I had been in and out of talk therapy and psychiatric hospitals for over 20 years with major depression and ptsd. I was on several medications for these illnesses. Today, I am down to one medication, down 65 lbs and feeling like I am finding parts of myself I buried long ago. It no longer feels like I'll always be stuck in a whirlpool of drugs and therapy that never seem to help. I deserve better.

I am a Viet-nam Vet. I was in an infantry line unit in USMC, Khe Sahn 1968. I sustained a gunshot wound from an NVA AK-47. I have chronic PTSD for the past 40 years. I have been working with Tom using EFT since September 2011. I have had some remarkable improvements with hyper vigilance - anxiety- intrusive thoughts- and other symptoms. The hardest thing for me was to open up and face my horrific fears, then to trust Tom - he is also a Viet-Nam vet and let him guide me through my trauma and pain. I am looking forward to more relief from fear and anxiety as I move forward with EFT and Tom.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have new clients fill out an intake form and some evaluations. I review that with them, explain to them how I work and the tools used and then we decide on a starting point to begin doing the healing work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required to have 12 CEUs every 2 years to maintain my DCEP certification. I usually do this by attending a conference annually to learn about new research, techniques and applications of the techniques.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
My standard fee is $100/hour long session; a full hour compared to other therapists. I also offer pre-paid discounts for 3 or 6 sessions, and a reduced fee for students and veterans. Special consideration is given to veterans with PTSD.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients with fears, phobias, anxieties, depression, relationships and relationship issues, and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) of any origin. This includes combat, rape, domestic abuse, childhood sexual assault and more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I believe in there has to be a good match between the counselor and the client. This means that personal interaction is good, communication is good, intention is good and that the client has the willingness to go deep into their issue to create the healing they want.
