I have been taking lessons from Beth for a few years now and really enjoy the experience. Although they are "group lessons" ( usually 2-4 students in a group) Beth finds time to individualize the instruction for each of us. I work in acrylics, another student prefers oils, someone else is doing a fabric collage and another uses colored pencils. Also, our ages range from teenagers to senior citizens in the class and that makes it fun. Beth is able to instruct in all the media and often includes some art history in the course of the lessons, explaining how the "old masters" worked as well as more modern artists. She is flexible in scheduling the classes and keeps in close touch by email.

Very in depth, longterm studies on many important foundations of art, especially those of color theory and form. Provides a wonderful environment for artistic exploration, plus a very postive student body. Very accommodating to any skill level. Also supports improvement of ones personal style and the exploration of subject matter.

I'm a retired senior citizen. I had never taken an art class. I came to Beth because I wanted to learn to paint. I have been taking classes for two years. She gives me lots of personal attention. We discuss together what my next project will be. There are only a few students in a class, all with very different abilities. I treasure my time with her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Drawing and painting classes meet once a week. Students sign up for four classes at a time. Classes are ongoing and can be renewed continuously. Choose a daytime or evening class.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born an artist. I had no choice in the matter.
