FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Electrical installation and trouble shooting is $35/hr. Electric design is $45/hr and Electronic design and software development is $55/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I would like to put them at ease. Being cordial and respectful. Arriving on time or contacting them if I will be delayed. I want to instill a sense of dependability. Next, I will let the customer walk me through what they want. In other words, the "listening" phase. Next is the question and answer phase where I try to reconcile inconsistencies, educate the customer on the proper way to accomplish what they want and keep them aware that many things that sound simple and inexpensive to accomplish may not be, to avoid "sticker shock". After that, I will promise a quote by a certain date and deliver it within that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology from SUNY Canton and a Bachelors of Engineering Technology From RIT. In addition, I have a vast amount of field experience from simple switch and outlet installation to 480V, 3 phase service entrance installation. I also have extensive electronic design experience with an emphasis in embedded processors and wireless communications and software development.
