- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was introduced into construction by my grand farther. who was a mason. I labored for him over 5-6 yrs learning the in's and out of concrete and masonry. as time and summers went by. I found myself on different types of construction sight and jobs.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had got a call from an ole friend that was looking around for someone who knew how to correctly remove vintage wallpaper. the issue was that they had had (3) different service crews already attempted this removal with no success. when we showed up. the owners were at there witt end because the job had been botched. there were clearly glue marks, still on the wall and many places had been gouged out with scrapers, indicating,,,amateurs. I immediately sent my assistant back to my truck for my computer, to show the customer, my pics on the wall paper job I had completed in victor, we were hired immediately. 3 days later, job complete, customers were ecstatic. Im proud of that job because, I had learned the slow and patient wall paper removal tech: from my grandfather on one of those football Sundays, when his team got beat. im greatful I learned it and listened.
