Introduction: Hello! I have been a nationally certified Personal Trainer since 2000, and I received a BS in Exercise Science and Health in 2004. I have experience working with many types of clients. My specialty is working with folks who are complete beginners, seniors, or who have additional challenges, such as joint issues or chronic illness. I started working with Catherine in early 2017 when, at age 70, I retired to become a full time caregiver. I never had the discipline to workout regularly in a gym or at home. Catherine was the perfect antidote. She listened, she taught, she encouraged, she relistened and retaught, and she brilliantly adjusted my routines to meet my goals and needs. Three years later, I’m a different person physically and mentally. I’m confident I can handle aging in a safe and healthy fashion. My twice a week sessions are definitely high points in my week. I unconditionally recommend Catherine and Bridge to Wellness.

Catherine is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and can tailor sessions and programs to your specific need. She has seen me through 2 surgeries and kept me motivated after being told I can't run any more. (which is a major bummer.) She's professional, and kind, and always follows up after sessions to make sure you have the instructions and can do the exercises accurately and comfortably at home or in the gym (those were the days). In short, honestly she rocks.

Catherine has been my trainer for over 7 years. She is professional, knowledgeable, adaptable and fun to be with. If she gives me a new exercise and she is not pleased with how I am doing it, she quickly changes it to something with the same purpose but works better for me. Catherine often writes specific reminders in her written exercises. NO DEATH GRIP! BREATHE!! Catherine is very flexible in scheduling and time together. In addition, she creates exercises for me for the summer when I am at my cottage. She considers what is available to me at the cottage. I traveled last year and Catherine worked up exercises that I could do in my motel rooms! I would recommend Catherine as a trainer for anyone and any age. Barbara Clarcq

Catherine’s thoroughness and thoughtful training changed my life. I was recovering from an ankle injury and Catherine mindfully set about to build up both my ankle and my overall strength and fitness. At every session she was unfailingly methodical and kind. Her knowledge of what works best for a person’s needs is matched by her intuitive and supportive nature.

I would give Catherine more than 5 stars if I could. She has all the professional attributes I was looking for in a fitness trainer, and she’s a good, kind and fun person too. She takes her work very seriously--it’s clearly not just a job for her. She’s smart, knowledgable, encouraging, and challenging, while always careful not to cause injury. I began working with Catherine almost three years ago when I was 74 and now, thanks to her, I’m much stronger and more fit than I was then.
