Introduction: I have been teaching Piano and associated music lessons, i.e., theory, composition, improvisation, etc. since the 80's. I work in all areas, Pop, Jazz/Blues, Classical, Gospel [inspirational], etc. My rates are dependent on 3 things: Frequency of lessons, location (here or at your home), and length of lesson (30, 45 or 60 mins). The quote I gave you is for a 30 minute lesson in your home, as you requested. Lessons are individually tailored depending on the goals and desires of my students.

Steve was my piano instructor for several years while I was growing up. I enjoyed my lessons and I learned a lot from him. I would definitely encourage anyone to take lessons with him. Especially those who wish to learn jazz and other such styles of music. He is very respectful and a true music profesional!

Steve is an exceptional teacher. He is in tune and sensitive to my learning style, which is probably unconventional. He is extremely well educated, but seems able to really hone in what I need to learn at the moment, as he builds a good base of instruction. I never feel inadequate, but rather very encouraged. I leave each lesson with a lot to think about and experiment with. I am already a musician with some piano back ground, but play guitar and write original music. I wanted to learn how to play the piano while I sing, and really utilize it for composing. I think Steve is very gifted in the area of teaching.

My grandson absolutely loves Steve! He is very patient with him, pushes him to learn as much as he can while having fun with the lessons. I am confident that my grandson will become a great pianist under Steve direction!
