Harold is an exceptional teacher. He makes learning the steps to each dance very understandable. His patience is phenomenal. He will go out of his way to make sure everyone comprehends the dance.

Harold and Betty are excellent instructors who took the time to work with us through each dance step. Even though it looked like sometimes I had 2 left feet they were patient and supportive. They even injected some humor into their instruction which made this a very enjoyable experience. They touched on the basics of the dances that they were teaching and even furnished us with written dance steps and a CD of some music selections so that we could practice at home. When our teenage son and his girlfriend heard about our experience they signed up for the next class! I would highly recommend Sullivan Dance Class to anyone who wants to look good on the dance floor.

Harold and Betty make it an absolute joy to learn ballroom dancing. They break down the steps at the level of the students' abilities to create mastery at each lesson. We were able to go out and do something basic even in the first lesson of each dance. If you already know the basics they teach you a new step based on what you already know.. They have an easy-going and fun way of teaching that motivates us to try and try again until we get it. They are also a fun couple to get to know in our chats before and after class. I plan to take every class Harold and Betty teach.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our current pricing structure is $30.00 per for a private lesson plus a milage fee of $7.00.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers are always welcome to observe or participate in a lesson. At the very least a telephone call provides the opportunity for the prospective client to ask questions as well as give me the oppotunity to promote my program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My wife and I studied under Norton and Aggie Hyman,and Jackie Horner. We have taught at the SUNY Orange Adult Education Program, the Janice Dance Center, Pine Bush Adult Ed. Program, Middletown Senior Center, and on various Cruise Lines. We are currently teaching ballroom dance at the Sullivan County Adult Ed. Program.
