  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was 16, I started to go down to NYC every weekend and visit a makeup studio called Barrone's in Soho. I was so impressed watching the MUA applying and blending on clients, I bought an entire kit and went back up state (Capital District) and started working my magic. At 18, I attended cosmetology school and receive my license for hair. In 1990, I started on location services with Brides in the Capital Region of NY. In 1994, I moved to Scarsdale in Westchester County and started working as a free lance MUA for various designers/editorial/film/tv/commercials/fashion. On the weekends, I dedicated my time to my beautiful Brides, and as of today, I have gained enough clout to say that I am the most established onsite hair and makeup artist in New York. I am currently returning to the Saratoga region to take care of my mother.
