Latest Review: I began working with Adam on August 1, 2014. Prior to that, I'd had a lot of injuries including knees, lower back, right shoulder, both feet and left wrist. I was 270lbs and literally in a walking boot recovering from a broken bone in my foot when I started.
Adam took plenty of time with me in our first meeting talking about my goals, my limitations, my challenges, my schedule, my nutrition, my motivation, my interests, and more.
In the three months since then, I've lost about 20lbs and I've built strength, cardio endurance, flexibility, and confidence. I am able to climb the 3 flights of stairs to my apartment now without having to stop and rest. I can get myself from lying down to seated using just core strength and no arms. I've lost 2 pants sizes.
Adam has been AMAZING about working with each of my physical limitations and still finding ways to push my mind and body to keep improving. He pays close attention to form and to safety, always making sure that you are not going to hurt yourself or move in a dangerous way.
Don't get me wrong - Adam doesn't have a magic wand, I've had to put in a LOT of grueling work to get here. But Adam is super encouraging, kind, compassionate. He helps you celebrate the smallest of victories. He takes his job seriously and he takes as much pride in your success as you do. He is very knowledgeable and experienced within a variety of fitness areas and he's very motivated to continue to learn more and stay on top of new research. He has all kinds of tricks up his sleeves. If I am struggling too much with one kind of exercise, he instantly comes up with another that still challenges me but doesn't break me.
Adam's been great about being flexible with my schedule, and he comes to my home. It amazes me what we can accomplish with just a few pieces of equipment in a fairly small space. In order to stay on track, I made the decision that I needed to work with Adam 2-4x/week and Adam's prices are reasonable enough to make that possible.
Basically, if I was going to design the perfect trainer in my mind, it would be Adam. I can't recommend him enough. He's my secret weapon and I'm looking forward to working with him until I meet my goals (which are huge and difficult but I believe they are in reach with Adam's help.)
