Introduction: DJM Entertainment. We are a professional DJ Entertainment Company for over 20 years. When I started out it was just me, but I always knew I was destined for greatness. Since that first event I have come a long way. Now it is no longer just myself. With over 10 crews at my disposal and 1000's of gigs under our belt, we all continue to stand by our motto: Give our customers exactly what they want (which is) Amazing Entertainment at an affordable rate!! So far that belief has kept us on top of our game for the last 20 years, and God willing, another 20 more. We cater to Weddings, Sweet Sixteen's, Bar/Bat Mitzvah's,Communions Birthdays,Children's Parties, Block Parties and more!! As an owner, a DJ and MC for almost 20 years, I have a passion for music and entertaining. Sure its a job, but not like any other!! I love what I do, and my dj's love it too!! As we enter a venue and introduce ourselves to the client, I smile, because we know as a skilled entertainers, that both our clients and their guests are in for the time of their lives. From djin'g a beautiful wedding, to rocking a girls sweet 16, to the look on a child's face as you play their favorite games and songs, there's no words to explain how great that feels!!

DJ Mike is a very nice guy and did a good job at our wedding in April 2016 at the Mansion at West Sayville. He played a lot of music that my husband and I love and also songs that got people up and dancing. He was dressed professionally and didn't give us any real problem at all. We let him know before the day of the wedding that we didn't want anyone too loud or who would be in everyone's faces, and he followed through and did a great job of staying more low key and playing most of what we wanted to hear. Unfortunately, he didn't have the Willie Nelson version of "It's a Wonderful World", so my Dad and I danced to Louie Armstrong's version, instead. There was also 1 song that was cut early, but he went back to it for us because it was a big crowd pleaser. The only other small issue, which could've been technical between our computers, was the fact that I know I e-mailed my song list to him for our wedding party & special songs we wanted to hear, but apparently he didn't get it. I had to fill it back out the night before our wedding and hope that everything would work out-which for the most part, it did. We didn't pay extra for special lighting or anything like that, so I can't say how that would be, but overall we were happy with our DJ & the service he provided to our wedding reception.

I have been working with DJM for three years. It all began with my sons communion. He was amazing. I had children from ages 3 through 12 and every single kid was kept entertained by DJ Mike. I loved him so much my sons PTA has been using him ever since! DJ Mike not only rocks it with the kids but at our fundraising event A Parents Night Out as well. He is company is professional, punctual and very easy to work with! You can't go wrong for any occasion with DJM Entertainmemt!

We had DJ Mike at our Daughter's Communion. He was excellent, had everyone on the dance floor and played just the right music and games. I would recommend him for your next party for sure........... Denise

I hired mike (the owner ) to DJ and do karaoke months before my daughters sweet sixteen after speaking and building a rapport with him months before my daughters sweet sixteen We discussed that it would be a mixed crowd and in depth the type of music I would like played he told me it was no problem he was a member of a up to date music club that all djs get music from he has everything also he was going to provide karaoke with wireless mic's and a 42 led tt.v. Late two days before the party he called to tell me he was going to send another dj that would serve me better that he himself wasn't really good working the karaoke and he had to borrow all the equipment for it y not give me a real karaoke dj that can do it all I was shocked and upset I kept saying Iam comfortable with you we discussed everything u knew what I wanted you made me comfortable telling me you will have the crowd going you are very experienced and now last minute he was giving me someone new !!! He said he would be better and provide everything we discussed I asked about the song she was going to dance to he said no problem he says y don't you send me a playlist to give the new dj But don't worry he will have everything at this point I was freakin out I was trying to get everything done as the party was at my home 80 people ! I did write out a itinerary like I had discuss with mike and some of the songs we definitely wanted to hear and sent as soon as I was able to the day before thimking mike would make sure he would be prepared for the party since he knew for months what I wanted played ! DJ Danny showed up with a little box t.v wired mic's for karaoke and unprepared with music at times we were plugging phones in to play songs we wanted to hear 😡 He said he was doing the best he can getting the party so late he didn't mix songs he basically stopped and played the next song it was a nightmare ! I don't suggest using them as I feel this was a bait and switch operation

Dee, This review is unfair and untrue. As your event date approached, you decided to go with a full karaoke event.You mentioned that you would like mixed music played for the majority of the party and at the last minute or day , you switched the entire party,The music list I asked you for weeks in advance was sent to us the morning of your event, and therefore we did the best we could. As I mentioned our event company does not service karaoke, and Danny is one of the best. Polite and an excellent crowd pleaser. I feel if you had possibly responded to my texts and emails for your song lists eat, this review would not be here for my loyal customers to read Mike

DJ Mike did an amazing job at my daughter's Communion! There were 40 kids and 80 adults and DJ Mike made sure all of the kids were entertained! His pricing was Great and he surpassed my expectations with his overall professionalism. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a DJ! Thanks DJ Mike!

Listening to the customers needs. Customers have likes and dislikes. We pay close attention to that. Every party is a little different and should be treated as such!
