Questionnaires and surveys to better understand you both as a couple and what you want and expectations for your big day. You have full access to "helpful hints" these are things I provide for our brides, going over things like timeline, and how long it takes for each moment, and these can be helpful when starting to build your day and timeline. Lisa was absolutely incredible from signing the contract to the day of our wedding. Her joy and excitement over her job is absolutely contagious. I was instantly at ease with her and didn’t need to worry about a thing! On the day of our wedding, both Lisa and her second shooter were brilliant. They made sure that everything ran smoothly. Our photos are absolutely breathtaking and arrived sooner than expected - in peak wedding season too! To say that I’m obsessed with the photos is very much an understatement! Lisa was awesome! I was cool, calm and collected during my planning, however, day of I had a few obstacles that caused me to be a bit of a bridezilla😬😬I had issues with my dress and Lisa jumped right in and offered her help (which ultimately saved me from a total meltdown bc the dress was just NOT dressing the way it was supposed to!) She helped calm me down, assured me that I was the bride and it was MY day and to take my time bc nothing was starting without me! Then, despite the rain, she still made sure we got the outdoor pics I originally wanted but thought weren't going to happen! We had no bridal party, so there weren't "traditional" photos that we needed to have, however, Lisa made sure she got pics with I think every guest! My gallery isn't ready yet, but we got a sneak peek and they're gorgeous! I'm so excited to see the rest! I highly recommend Russell Photography, if you want someone who is responsive, friendly and down to earth to help you on your big day, she went above and beyond and we're very happy we hired her!

Lisa is a true master of her craft. Not only did she brave a snowstorm to meet us in Rochester, she was able to capture a side of my brother- and sister-in-law - an unforgivingly private and PDA-averse couple who loathes the camera - that many have only attempted before. They're not the easiest subjects (and they aren't shy about it) but Lisa understood the assignment and made it all look effortless. Life is expensive! You want memories to last a lifetime! I am here with fair, reasonable, flexible pricing to help fit you and your project/ day! Tell me your budget I will do what i can to help! Can not wait to work with you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new client is exciting! I like to ask them what they are looking for with the outcome of the photos. Do they want more of a traditional look or something more modern. I like to sit down with them and go over my different package details or create a package that is right for the occasion. Then we book!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It all starts with a passion! My father was a photographer before me. I cant put down the camera! I truly fell in love with photography after living in Colorado for a year! I love to see people smile and be truly happy after giving them the final product You want to know the best part of my job? Every day that I go to to work, I get to see two people coming together and deciding on forever!
