I am glad I found Magi Design through thumbtack website based on all other excellent reviews. Both Mariama and Ravil from Magi Design are very personable and professional and they work very well together on helping us decorate our home. Their fees are reasonable and the they track their time and hours along the way. Mariama has a very good taste and is very particular on the look and qualities on all the items she selected and purchased. I was very impressed on the extent of effort she took when she was checking on all the light fixtures and furniture she selected and ordered. She would take the initiative and burden to return anything if she felt the quality is not 100% satisfaction and did not meet her expectation. The mood board she deigned for each room is beautiful and I can not wait for all the rooms to be done to see the final result. I recommend Magi Design to anybody who is out there looking for designers to decorate your home and make it beautiful. I will share my further reviews once our project is done and I am very satisfied with Magi design service so far.

Very personable and seems like a perfect match. Has great ideas but we are only at the very beginning of this design project. It’s the complete design of a 3br house that was severely damaged by Superstorm Sandy.

Our pricing structure is flexible, depending on the clients' wishes. We typically charge hourly, and we always pass on our trade discounts on all furnishings to all our clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically start off with a brief phone conversation to introduce ourselves, get some details on the project, and set up a free initial consultation. We then like to meet at the space, meet the potential clients face to face, explain the entire process and what they can expect, and then more times than not, we're off and running!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Interior Design from The Art Center Design College in Seattle.
