Introduction: I have a Master’s degree in Education from Regent University and a bachelor in Business from Nyack College. My general experience has been focused on two main areas – human services and education. I am very passionate about empowering people with the resources needed to live a meaningful life on a personal and educational level. I am highly motivated to equipping individuals with the vocational resources needed to enhance their career goals or social interests in pursuit of personal goals. My human services skills encompassed an array of services like providing vocational instruction and counseling to individuals with disabilities and, connecting them to much needed resources within the community for social services such as, training, housing, medical and social resources for personal and career advancement On an educational level, I have taught in a number of public and private schools in Bergen County, New Jersey and Rockland County, New York. My educational history dates back to my teenage years when I taught biblical principles to little ones in a church setting. My educational repertoire includes heading and operating a home-based business for preschoolers, teaching office skills and computer skills to individuals with disabilities, teaching Spanish in Middle and High School at public schools and at a Catholic High School. and other private settings as well. I have also taught Spanish to college students at various colleges for college credits. I have taught personal enrichment at a community college as well. I am a former educational administrator at two of those colleges. I am currently an adjunct professor at a 4 year college and work seasonally at a Community College where I teach elementary and intermediate Spanish and Reading and Writing Skills. I enjoy helping people and lending them the tools they need to survive and succeed in life’s many uncertain turns. I believe that when people are empowered and become confident in and within themselves the sky is the limit of what they can accomplish. I look forward to helping you with in achieving your career and personal goals. Thank you.

Ana Santiago is a professor in the College/University Spanish department. She engages, teaches, and trains her students in comprehending the well-known language of Spanish. She goes above and beyond her duty to make sure that her students do not try to fly through the course but she makes sure that they really understand what is being said and done. During my time in Professor Santiago’s Spanish class, she made me feel at ease because I didn’t know how to speak Spanish at all. She was able to make me feel calm because she knew what it was like to be in a new country and not know how to speak the language (English, American). Whenever I was wrong, she would give me another chance to try and think hard about the correct answer. She would constantly make us recite things in Spanish, and because of it, I have been able to make nice friends of the Spanish speaking background. Her classroom etiquette is perfect. She doesn’t allow anyone to be rude and get away with it, at the same time she give the utmost respect and love a teacher/professor should give to students. I don’t think there is any one thing that Professor Santiago could do to become better. She is loving, caring, strict, but fair. She has all of the qualities a professional professor in academia should have. If anything, she should make students recite more things in Spanish, like situations of emergencies, birthdays, Christmas songs, and some things that could help one to get a job if the job requests a bi-lingual employee.
