After the damage done to our home from hurricane Sandy my wife and I werent sure if we would ever be able to have our home back and livable again. The damage done was truly devastating to both our home and our psyches.
Jay Quinn was recommended to us by the owner of the company that replaced our boiler and I am very pleased that we followed his recommendation. The contracted price was a fair one and there were no add - ons or cost over - runs. The quality of Jay Quinns work has proven to be first class and both he and his employees are professional and friendly. The work was done promptly and completely.

We hired Jay-Quin to create a family room and general living space in an unfinished basement. Jay and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish. Jay was great to work with, filling in the gaps between initial concept to finished product. His experience, dedication and attention to details such as dimmer switches, pipe and electricity placement, and types of doors/windows were just some of his contributions that helped make a polished finished product. His team was professional and hard working. The initial quoted price was what you paid at the end. There was no hidden costs or "nickel and dime" tactics. I have already recommended Jay-Quin to other friends and family on Staten Island. He and his team did an incredible job for a good price. It was a pleasure working with him and his crew.

Trust! Jay-Quin Contracting is the most trust worthy contractor I have ever used. Their work speaks for itself and you can go to their website to see the beautiful, detailed work they do but you cannot define the character of this company by that. It is so refreshing to know that the owner Jay always does the right thing. He treats his clients like family and it is truly appreciated. The detail that this company puts into their work and the ideas that Jay gives are amazing. He took my ideas and turned them into master pieces. I am so glad I listened to Jay because he really knows his stuff and has never steered me wrong. I cannot recommend this company enough. I have used them multiple times to renovate my kitchen, bathrooms and basement. They are truly the best on the island!

The first time that I used Jay-Quin contractors was about 15 years ago when they did cement work for me. They did my patio, driveway, steps and sidewalk. None of the cement work has ever cracked which is why I called them for my next job. They did the retiling of my downstairs bathroom. The work was flawless and I never needed to call them back for anything. The next job was in my kitchen. They installed a new kitchen countertop and installed the new appliances. They also painted the kitchen. The next job was to remove the bathtub in the master bathroom and to put in a shower. The work that they did was outstanding. They purchased tiles to match my bathroom tiles and installed a beautiful mosaic in the shower. You would never know there was a bathtub in the bathroom. They also removed paneling from the two smaller bathrooms and smoothed out the walls and painted the rooms. Friends who have seen the rooms cannot tell there was ever paneling in the two bedrooms. I also wanted a light and a ceiling fan in each room. That was also done. The most amazing thing about Jay-Quin is not only the magnificent work that they do, but they never leave dirt around to clean up. They vacuumed every day and cleaned up as much as they could. I would never consider using any other contractor for any work in my home. The workers are extremely nice. They work as fast as they can and their work is precise. This is an amazing company and I would never think of hiring anyone else to work in my home.

We hired Jay Quin Contracting Inc. for a complete bathroom renovation. Jay's bid for this project was midrange, however, after checking various websites for customer satisfaction, we decided to use his company. The project included all new waste lines, all new supply lines, mold resistant wall boards, and new sub floors. He designed a custom walk in shower with both a rain forest shower head and hand held detachable shower wand. He also installed bead board wainscoting over walls with a layer of skim coat. The walk in shower with its frameless glass walls, creates a real open feeling in this odd shaped small room. The floor and wall tiles are perfectly set, and each seam was carefully sealed.
His workers were polite, professional and very neat, ensuring that the worksite and their path were swept daily. Jay worked well with us and brought our vision of our perfect bathroom to fruition.
