I recently held a launch event with an invite list of over 50 guests, and I was stressing about a caterer. Everyone I called was either too expensive, didn't have enough dishes to meet the dietary restrictions of my guests, or the menu just didn't look appetizing. I met Sara at a community event in our neighborhood (we both live in Bed Stuy), and I was complaining about how unaffordable and unhealthy the catering options were available to us in our neighborhood. After just one minute of Sara telling me about her private catering service I knew it was the perfect fit. I don't know if it was her genuine passion for healthy eating or her charisma for her work in the community, but I loved working with Sara from start to finish. She even came to the venue and gave me an in person consultation as to what dishes she thought would be best for the event, and included ingredients I told her I could not live without! (avocado please!) The result? Happy guests who could not get enough of Sara's delectable dishes. The vegans, the vegetarians, the pescatarians, gluten free, and of course the carnivores asking me who had curated such wonderful treats! I look forward to working with Sara again. She is definitely my go-to chef for all my catering needs.
Gabriella was amazing to work with and baked our beautiful wedding cake and mini pastries. We received many compliments on the cream and fresh berries. She also customized the cake with flowers and an A to Z engraving on the top to match our wedding theme. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I hired chef Hellard to accommodate my business schedule and help me eat healthier. As someone who works a lot of hours I could not get out of the rut of ordering in for Lunch and Dinner and decided to try something different. A friend recommended Rae and I hired her a few days a week to cook dinner for my family and prepare a few meals I could take to work and eat at home on nights where I was working late. Rae is very accommodating and did an excellent job finding extremely healthy and delightful meals that refrigerated well and were just as fresh a few days after preparation. She has helped me transform my eating habits and I find I have a lot more energy and time to do what needs to get done every day. That being said, with a little more flexibility for family dinners Rae has come up with some extremely unique and delicious meals that my whole family enjoys. We used to go out to eat twice a week but since we hired Rae we enjoy 5 star meals from the comfort of our home. After a long day at work there is nothing I look forward to more than coming home, relaxing, and having a professionally cooked meal in which I don't have to lift a finger. I highly recommend Rae to anyone that wants to be pampered and enjoy a first class chef in the comfort of their home. On a personal level level Rae is very friendly, outgoing, and courteous. She is someone that clearly takes pride in her work and is passionate about food and experimenting with new dishes. I have always found in house help to be a bit distracting and awkward but Rae is very unobtrusive, professional, and a delight to have around the house. Oh yeah, she is also great at custom cakes, cookies, and other treats which make a great gifts come time for birthdays or other events. Just one more added level of convenience.

Chef Oprah did a special "pre" valentines dinner for us and our friends. We have dietary restrictions (vegetarian AND gluten-free) so not easy - and we like adventurous foods and flavors. Chef Oprah came up with a tailored menu which was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you for a lovely evening! (I wish I had taken more photos!)

I had Vanessa cater my 4th of July party last year. The theme was "Republican". I'm a vegetarian and we had several guests with dietary restrictions. Vanessa created a menu with some great passed hors dourves during the main party (I still have people ask about the grilled shrimp w bourbon sauce) and a late night menu for sobering up. Sausage and peppers & an awesome farro and mushroom pie. She gave lots of options for our price point and gave some great suggestions to keep the party on theme. Best part- I didn't have to cook and the kitchen wasn't a mess in the morning.
